CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY OF A NEW COMPLEX HEPATOPROTECTIVE PREPARATION
Description
This article presents the results of the studies of the influence of a new complex hepatoprotective preparation on the basic system of the body, the mechanism of occurrence and manifestation of its biological effects, the dependence of this action from the components that are parts of the preparation, the dose, as well as the regularity of manifestation of possible side effects. The effect of the different doses of the preparation (1% and 2%) on the average daily weight gain and morphological and biochemical indices of the birds’ blood was studied. The conducted research determined a stimulatory influence of the preparation on the growth, development and safety of broiler chickens. The new hepatoprotector exhibits the properties aimed on revitalizing the erythro- and hematopoiesis and magnification of the cellular immunity against the exogenous influence. The use of the preparation helps to improve liver function and reduce the toxic load on hepatocytes, which manifests an increase in a number of metabolic parameters, such as total protein, glucose, calcium, phosphorus. We have noted an expressed hepatoprotective effect on the enzyme activity of AST and the remission of the cytolytic syndrome of the experimental chickens. Thereby it was found out that the complex hepatoprotective preparation has a pronounced pharmacological activity, providing a significant impact on the energy of the broiler chickens’ growth and their safety, morphological and biochemical indices of the blood and metabolic processes in the body of the bird

EXPERIENCE OF USING NATURAL MINERAL COMPOUNDS FOR METABOLIC DISORDERS IN CATTLE
Description
In this study we show the results of the use of natural mineral compounds in metabolic disorders in cattle-breeding complexes of industrial type. According to official data for 2013-2015, based on the biochemical analysis of blood of cattle, that was held in some farms of Samara region, significant metabolic disorders were determined due to decrease in total protein level on 31,5% in average, decrease in alkali reserve – on 26,9% of samples, decrease in calcium concentration – on 40,7%, decrease of the phosphorus – on 8,1%, decrease in carotene – on 81,7% and glucose – on 84,3% of studies. Clinical examination of herd revealed a high level of animals with obvious signs of mineral metabolism disorders (osteodystrophy and rickets of alimentary origin) and comorbidity (nutritional anemia, gastroenteritis, pneumonia, disturbance of protein, carbohydrate and vitamin metabolism, and others). The use of complex natural compounds improves the efficiency of the traditional complex of treatment and prophylaxis, causing an increase in the total concentration of calcium in the blood serum on 10-55%, increase in calcium-phosphorus ratio till 1,27-2,3, increase in annual growth rate of young animals’ body weight on 8,2-44,8%, increase in milk production on 5,9-16,3%. Preparations have an antianemic action, normalize indicators of micronutrient metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates, enhance non-specific resistance factors and prevent the development of non-contagious internal pathology

BIOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS OF CAROTENOIDS AT CATTLE REPRODUCTION
Description
Carotenoid preparations are quite widely used in a health care, but in the veterinary and animal husbandry, their use is limited. In terms of livestock farms of the Krasnodar region and the Rostov region at the biochemical monitoring studies of the cattle blood the lack of carotene in the serum is revealed from 45 to 100 % of the samples. To study the biological function of carotenoid we used preparations, which are the oily solutions for injections: β-carotene (manufactured by FS 42-3867, which is produced from the biomass culture of the fungus Blakeslea trispora) and lycopene, emitted from plants. The cows in the test groups during the dry period and within two weeks after birth got carotenoid preparation subcutaneously at a dose of 10 ml per animal with an interval of 7 days. As a result, it was found out that the application of carotenoids has the most favorable conditions for the flow of labor and the postnatal period, which are manifested in the decrease in obstetric and gynecological diseases in cows and reduce the period of infertility. In the experimental groups the levels of vitamin A and carotene1,3 times higher (1,26 ± 0,14 μmol/L vs. 0,97 ± 0,09 μmol/L ) 1,8 times (0,34 ± 0 03 mg /% vs. 0.61 ± 0.11 mg /%) respectively in comparison with the parameters of the intact animals at a high level of confidence (P < 0,05). Phagocytic number and percentage of digestion of neutrophils increased by 8,5 %, the difference in the number of B-cells reached 9,1%, T-cells – 6,7%. In a humoral immunity found a significant increase in Ig A. After comparison of the level of lysozyme activity of blood serum was observed its reduction in all animals immediately after birth, but in the experimental groups this process was less pronounced. The use of carotene preparations helps to reduce the concentration of lipid peroxidation products in the body of cows (diene conjugates - by 16,6 %, ketodienes - by 35,7 %, malondialdehyde – by 11,3 %), which creates favorable conditions for the flow of the metabolic processes associated with ensuring the normal childbirth and post-partum involution of the genitals. In the group of cows, receiving the carotenoid lycopene, the dyspepsia morbidity of the newborn calves compared to a control decreased by 26,7 %, bronchopneumonia - by 13,3 %

Description
The use of intensive milk production technologies in practice, nonobservance of the principles of feeding and keeping animals leads to a decrease in the level of compensatory-regenerative processes in the body, violation of general and specific metabolic reactions, emergence of a number of pathological conditions, and, primarily, hepatopathies leading to a decrease in the productivity of dairy cattle, to the birth of unviable young animals and to the impossibility of their further exploitation. Therefore, on the background of early diagnosis of violations of the liver it is necessary to conduct adequate pharmacoprophylaxis, which prevents further development of hepatopathies with the help of hepatoprotectors. These preparations include a new injectable one – livazen, the mechanism of action of which works due to its antioxidant and membrane-stabilizing action. The preparation has a lipotropic effect, favorably affects the antitoxic and pigmentary function of liver, and increases resistance to hypoxia and various kinds of intoxication. Research conducted to study its effect in the system of prophylactic measures of hepatosis in sterile cows showed that on the background of the use of lavazen there was a significant increase in total protein by 16,6% and increase in albumins - by 13,8%. The level of γ-globulins, on the contrary, decreased by 20,9%. The study of the preparation had a normalizing effect on lipid metabolism, which was manifested by an increase in the concentration of triglycerides in 3,1 times and increase in cholesterol by 24,7%. An increase in the concentration of calcium by 14,5% was also found out. The use of livazen allowed to ensure a tendency towards a decrease in enzyme activity (according to AST - by 6,9%, by ALT - by 24,4%, according to alkaline phosphatase - by 11,6%), in contrast to control animals whose aspartate aminotransferase increased by 11,3% from the initial; ultrasonography of liver of cows confirmed the expressed effectiveness of the pharmacoprophylaxis

Description
Providing the population with basic foodstuffs, sources of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and other essential nutrients is one of the main issues of ensuring the security of the country, while the requirement for food safety is paramount. Production of feed additives (concentrates), which improve feed conversion, while being natural and safe for animal health, acquires the greatest importance in the conditions of intensification of agriculture and increasing the competitiveness of livestock farms. Probiotic microflora, which, in competition with pathogenic, displaces the latter from the gastrointestinal tract, can be considered as one of the effective methods of controlling undesirable microflora in the digestive tract. In world science, research is actively conducted in the direction of searching for effective probiotic cultures. A promising way to increase the effectiveness of the use of probiotic feed additives is their addition to prebiotics, for example, including vitamins (antioxidants) and mineral substances (selenium). The purpose of this work was to determine the optimal ratio of biologically active substances contained in the feed vitamin-mineral concentrate, and probiotic microflora contained in the feed probiotic additive Bacell-M, for the development of complex feed concentrate. Using the Harrington's desirability function, the optimum ratio of biologically active substances and probiotic microflora in the recipe of the complex feed concentrate is determined, ensuring the maximum reduction in the serum levels of alanine aminotransferase in the blood serum of experimental animals, which characterizes the normalization of barrier organs
