TO THE QUESTION OF THE ESTIMATION OF THE SOLAR ENERGY
Description
It is known, that today, the one of the promising areas to effectively address issues of energy saving is applying renewable energy sources. Despite the fact that the current solar PV stations have the main drawback associated with the high cost, the prospects of their application in autonomous systems of electrosupply are evident when they are used in combined (hybrid) systems. In such systems, other types of renewable and traditional sources of electricity, which, in addition, produce heat, might be used as well. We have disclosed the prospects of the solar industry; also, for solar energy assessment we examined analytical expressions allowing defining the energy derived from solar radiation for specific surfaces. The calculations start with obtaining statistical data obtained at meteorological stations which keeps records of the intensity of the total (direct plus diffuse) radiation on a horizontal surface, and the intensity of direct solar radiation. The article presents features of the calculation taking into account the climatic and territorial conditions, on the example of the Krasnodar region. Considered calculation procedure is the first stage of designing solar power plants. Further, we determine the total capacity of electricity consumers, as well as the quality requirements for electricity, including continuity of supply, and then we get to the construction of the block diagram of the electricity supply. In this scheme, we must provide primary and backup power sources. We select the main equipment of solar power plant (solar panels, inverters and storage batteries)

TO THE QUESTION OF THE MAIN PERFORMANCE CRITERIA CALCULATION FOR ELECTRIC POWER STATIC CONVERTERS
Description
Widespread in autonomous systems, including uninterrupted power supply systems, there are power static (electronic) convertors: rectifiers and inverters, used to match the parameters of the electric power source and the load; they also have a function of voltage stabilizers. Important question is the calculation of key performance criteria at the design stage: power losses, efficiency, reliability, weight and size (for electrical transport systems). The article discusses the methodology of the simplified calculation of the basic criteria of efficiency of inverters and rectifiers. There are schematic electrical diagrams of power rectifiers and inverters, and the basic analytical expression for a simplified calculation of the basic criteria of efficiency of the converters, including their output filters. Each year, we improve the technical characteristics of the probes using new element base, allowing reducing the level of electromagnetic interference generated by power electronic devices. We have also shown perspective directions of the development of power converter technology by using one-phase and threephase transformers with rotating magnetic field in their creation (therefore we increase reliability of operation and efficiency). A promising direction is the construction of converters and autonomous systems in a modular complex, where (in addition to increased system reliability) we simplify its operation, including service

CLASSIFICATION OF INDEPENDENT SOURCES OF ELECTRIC POWER
Description
In the article the description of the basic kinds of sources of the electric power, their merits and de-merits is resulted. Nowadays independent sources of the electric power on static converters are the most universal. In spite of the fact that electronic devices are capable to provide reliable enough electrosupply with consumers of various capacities and character of loading, however their bad fitness to high - dynamic loadings still is. Therefore elec-tromachine converters remain the basic source of the electric power, as the steadiest to overloads. So even in transport independent sources, for which weight-dimensions parameters are most critical, electromachine converters are used. In the article typical circuits of electromachine converters with synchronous and asynchronous generators, their advantages and lacks in relation to static converters are resulted. And as methods of increase of their efficiency, for example work on the part frequency, are resulted. For the sources executed on static converters, use of circuits with an intermediate link of the part frequency is most perspective, which, in its turn, allows to lower weight-dimensions parameters. As a rule, static converters have bad quality of a target voltage, therefore for increase of its quality use various target electric filters. Controlled filters whit electronic elements in their structure have the greatest efficiency

CLASSIFICATION AND ESTIMATION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF SYSTEMS FOR UNINTERRUPTED ELECTROSUPPLY
Description
In the article we present generalized block diagrams of stationary and transport systems of uninterrupted electrosupply, as well as their maintenance and the basic operating modes providing uninterrupted electrosupply of crucial consumers. Classification of systems of uninterrupted electrosupply is resulted. The basic classification attributes of systems of uninterrupted electrosupply are their assignment for stationary or transport consumers of the electric power, types of used basic, reserve and emergency sources and converters of the electric power. Besides systems of uninterrupted electrosupply can be classified under circuits of connection to consumers of the electric power, their division on a sort of a current (constant, variable, high-frequency), breaks in electrosupply, to type of the switching equipment and so on. For the estimation of the efficiency of systems of uninterrupted electrosupply it is offered to use the following criteria of efficiency: Power and weight-dimension parameters, parameters of reliability, quality of the electric power and cost. Analytical expressions for calculation of parameters of the estimation of efficiency of systems of uninterrupted electrosupply are resulted. The classification of systems of uninterrupted electrosupply suggested in article and modes of their work, and also the basic criteria of an estimation of efficiency will allow raising efficiency of pre-design works on creation of systems with improved customer characteristics with use of modern element base

Description
The article considers the main types of wind and solar electric installations, and provides a comparative analysis of the renewable energy potential of the Krasnodar region. Currently, humankind cannot live without electricity. Production and consumption of electricity is constantly increasing and the cost of it is constantly becoming more expensive. The cost of oil production (to get oil out of the ground) increases. The cost of electricity is going up because the cost of basic materials such as copper is at an unprecedented high. Such alternatives energy sources such as solar and wind are real solutions to these problems, moreover, the cost of "traditional" energy sources will only increase. To date, the most popular and invest renewable energy sources are the solar energy and the wind. The solar energy in the Krasnodar region is more profitable than wind, despite the fact that the production of solar installations is more expensive. But every year, the price of solar energy is being reduced and soon will be equal to the price of wind energy, and science and technology do not stand still, and considering the abundance of sunlight in the Krasnodar region, the solar installation will pay off much faster
