METHODOLOGY OF CONTROL PROCESSES MODELING IN SOCIO-ECONOMIC SYSTEMS
01.00.00 Physical-mathematical sciences
Description
The article introduces the basic concepts of control theory. It has also noted the multicriteriality of real control problems. After reviewing the basic concepts of the theory of modeling we have analyzed postwar history and current status of mathematical modeling of control processes. We have also discussed the modeling methodology. As an example of a real model of the management process we have considered a model of allocation of time between the acquisition of knowledge and development of skills

NONPARAMETRIC AND APPLIED STATISTICS IN OUR COUNTRY
01.00.00 Physical-mathematical sciences
Description
We continue the series of articles about the history of statistics. We discuss the development of nonparametric and applied statistics in our country in 1930 - 1980 years. We have presented the studies of the great statisticians of the twentieth century, such as N.V. Smirnov, L.N. Bolshev, V.V. Nalimov. American statistics show Russian debate about applied statistics. We have briefly listed the process of creation of the All-Union Statistical Association (1990) and its further developments

DISTANCES IN THE SPACES OF STATISTICAL DATA
01.00.00 Physical-mathematical sciences
Description
The core of applied statistics is statistics in spaces of arbitrary nature, based on the use of distances and optimization problems. This article discusses the various distances in spaces of statistical data, in particular, their conclusions on the basis of appropriate systems of axioms. The conditions and proofs of theorems first published in scientific periodicals

THEORETICAL TOOLS OF STATISTICAL METHODS
01.00.00 Physical-mathematical sciences
Description
We have considered the basic mathematical tools (theorems, methods) which are used regularly in the justification of new results in the field of statistical methods: rules of large numbers, central limit theorems, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the inheritance of convergence, the linearization method, the invariance principle

Description
Lusian - dichotomous data model as a finite sequence of independent Bernoulli trials with, generally speaking, different probabilities of success. The tasks of statistical hypothesis testing, classification, averaging lusians are discussed. In accordance with the requirements of practice the problems are considered primarily in the asymptotic behavior of increasing dimension, in which the number of unknown parameters increases in proportion to the size of data. The method of testing hypotheses on set of small samples and the theory of unbiased statistical estimates were proved to be useful

INTELLECTUAL INFORMATION SYSTEM OF THE OPTIMUM CONTROL OF KNOWLEDGE
01.00.00 Physical-mathematical sciences
Description
In the article the graph model of management of control of knowledge of pupils in indistinct conditions is offered. The model allows to define the optimum quantity and optimum placement of control actions for a studying course for each discipline (each its fragment), and also to carry out an assessment of structure of knowledge

PROPAGATION OF THE UNSTEADY-STATE LONGITUDIONAL WAVES IN VISCOELASTIC TWO-LAYER SEMI-SPACE
01.00.00 Physical-mathematical sciences
Description
In this work it is investigated the propagation of unsteady-state waves in a vicoelastic semi space for the arbitary heterogeneous functions at the different boarded conditions with the help of Laplas transformation and exponentional Truriers conversion. The received solution has been analyzed in a private case when medium properties are describing by Rzhanitsin’s core

Description
The accumulation features of radionuclides in the epitaphic pylaisiella moss (Pylaisia polyantha) in the territory of the city of Rostov-on-Don have been considered. The specific activities of 137Cs, 226Ra, 40K, and 232Th in the samples of moss, soils, and aerosol air have been compared. The capacity of Pylaisia polyantha to accumulate radionuclides has been estimated for four radionuclides (137Cs, 226Ra, 232Th, and 40K) with consideration for the background level. On the basis of radionuclide analysis, zones in the city of Rostov-on-Don with the highest accumulation coefficients of 137Cs, 226Ra, 40K, and 232Th were revealed. These were primarily the zones with both industrial and traffic loads and the motor transport zones

RELIABILITY OF ESTIMATION OF HEAVY METAL CONTAMINATION IN SOILS
Description
There have been examined the methods for estimating the degree of heavy metal contamination in soils. There have been revealed some discrepancies that concern estimation of soil contamination degree and calculation of consolidated figures for chemical elements contamination in soils stated in effective normative documents. The formulas for estimation of summary soil contamination stated in normative documents reveals considerable discrepancies that do not let give an objective estimation of dangerous concentration of heavy metal. We offer estimation of concentration of several chemical elements not by summarizing their concentration but by estimating their excess in relation to rock or its concentration in soil taken as a background

ANAEROBIC BIODEGRADATION OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS IN MICROBIAL FUEL CELLS
Description
МF-4SК membrane-based microbial fuel cell (MFC) was used for an anaerobic utilization of organic com-pounds of various liquid wastes. During incubation in short circuit mode, decreasing of the COD value on range 30-87 % depending on the type of wastes was detected. The dependence of the microbial fuel cell output power on the value of the external load was determined by a number of structural characteristics of MFC
