The article examines the dichotomy of the images оf Alien/Another. Having considered the main points in understanding of this phenomenon, the author analyses the phenomenon of Alien/Another on the example of the images of superheroes/supervillains, identifies the dominant features in the images and proves the dichotomous relationship between them by using mathematical and statistical methods.
