BIOLOGICAL AND PRODUCTIVE RESOURCES OF LACTATING COWS AT DENITRIFICATION
Description
The article presents the results obtained in the process of two scientific-practical experiments carried jut on two milk cows (Shvitskay breed) aimed at the antioxidants detoxication properties and mould inhibitor revealing. This factor is actual in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania as the intensive technologies of the fodder crops cultivation using the nitrate fertilizers are widely applied in the region leading to the excess nitrates and nitrite penetration into the animals’ organism. During the first experiment, the antioxidants of epophen and vitamin C were added into the ration of the lactating cows with the subtoxic dosage of nitrates both separately and in complex. The complex feeding proved to increase the milk productivity, the fat mass and protein mass in milk while reducing the fodder expenditure per product unit. Beside, the lactating cows revealed the digestive and intermediate exchange betterment and the reduction of nitrates and nitrites level in blood. The second experiment helped to study Khadoks antioxidant and mould inhibitor called Mold-Zap efficiency use for the nitrates and aflotoxicin B1 detoxication. The researches showed that the complex admixtures of the said preparations introduction into the rations of the animals increased the milk productivity, fat and protein content and reduced aflatoxineM1 content. The cows activated the digestive and intermediate exchange, accompanied with the nitrates and nitrites level reduction in the organism

EFFECT OF BENTONITE ON MEAT PRODUCTIVITY AND QUALITY OF PORK GILTS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
In our country, great influence is given to the production and consumption of agricultural animals' meat with high consumer qualities. In this regard, the livestock producers, particularly pigs, are to increase production and improve product quality. Works on using some natural mineral complexes - bentonite and zeolites as a source of macro - and trace elements are performed. The aim of the research is to study the effects of bentonite feeding with free access on the meat productivity and hygienic meat quality of young pigs for fattening. Best effect on the slaughter indexes of fattening gilts had bentonite feeding with free access that resulted in significant superiority of the animals in the experimental group over the control counterparts on pre-slaughter live weight, slaughter weight, chilled carcass weight, slaughter yield, carcass length, the "muscle" eye area and the backgammon weight. More favorable effect in the longest muscle on the dry matter and protein synthesis was provided by bentonite feeding with free access. Due to this, the gilts of the experimental group were in significant advance of their control counterparts in concentration of dry matter and protein in meat. Along with this, the longest muscle of young pigs on fattening in the experimental group had the highest protein value, as according to the protein-qualitative indicator the animals of this group were in significant advance of the control counterparts. Feeding bentonite clay with free access had a strong detoxifying effect that is against control counterparts of gilts in the experimental group showed the significant reduce of lead, zinc and cadmium concentrations in the meat

Mixed infestations have been reported in cattle with EI - 73.5%. The mixed infestations of cattle productive performance of animals decreased proportional to the intensity of infestation E.granulosus and D. lanceatum. In the carcasses of calves, depending on the AI of worms, we have marked the reduction in the yield of muscle tissue from 72.8 to 63.2%, fat - from 9.2 to 3.0% (3 times). Heavily infested bodies have shown a shortfall of 60.1 kg of meat in slaughter weight

HEMATOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF PIGS WHEN USING YAKON TUBERS AND ADSORBENTS IN RATIONS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
Under the current conditions, it is very important to boost the production of pork and improve its sanitary and hygienic quality for the successful handling of problems subjected to import substitution of meat products. This can be reached by means of strengthening of food reserve. For that purposes, in the frame of two experiments yacon tubers in combination with enzymatic agent protosubtilin GZx have been introduced in the intakes of fattening pork stores instead of fodder beat, and various doses of carbitox adsorbent have been additionally added when superfluous background of heavy metals was observed. During the 1st experiment, the substitution of fodder beet with the similar quantity of yacon tubers has allowed the animals of experimental group to outweigh the ones from the control group on 7,5% in the terms of gross formation of body weight, and to gain 100 kg of body weight for 7 days ahead of the animals from control group as well. Additionally, fodder costs per product have been reduced and the morphological and biochemical values of animals blood have been optimized. Based on the data from 2 nd experiment, it has been defined that the better dose for feeding of adsorbent carbitox was 2,0 kg per tonne of concentrates thereby the animals of 3rd experimental group had reasonably higher body weight gain and thereby higher feed-conversion ratio by products. Therewith, the animals intermediary metabolism has been speeded up due to optimization of morphological and biochemical values of blood and reduction of heavy metals content in blood serum, in other words level of zinc, lead and cadmium was not exceeding maximum allowable concentration

The impact of anthropogenic pollution on soil phytotoxity and on triticale plants in Vladikavkaz suburb was investigated in the work. The objects of the study were sod-gley leached soils and different varieties of triticale plants. The research was conducted in 2010-2011 at the Department of Biology of Gorsky State Agrarian University. The article gives data on microelements content in soils and plants within the range of influence of Vladikavkaz industrial enterprises. There was a marked change of miroelements’ mobility in soil and activity of their penetration into plants during fertilization. The sort characteristics of microelements’ accumulation in vegetative mass of triticale were researched. The conducted research is informative for soil and plant condition monitoring in anthropogenically polluted environment. The work indicates the increasing danger of microelements (including heavy metals) accumulation in soil and their inclusion in biological cycle in concentration that is too toxic for plants, animals and people during the usage of fertilizers, especially their high doses. The most dangerous among heavy metals are mercury, cadmium and lead. We used MPC rate of excess to estimate the content of these metals. The results of the research can be used in soil and cereal plant condition monitoring and diagnosis and in development of regional environmental regulation

USING SORBENTS IN FEEDING FOR INCREASING ENVIRONMENTAL AND FOOD VALUE OF BROILER MEAT
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
The article presents the results of two researches and production experiments conducted on broiler chickens grown in the area with high technological background in feed heavy metals and at the risk of aflatoxicosis. Experimental data obtained during the first experiment suggests that in order to optimize biology and agro-food value of meat with excess of heavy metals and the risk of aflatoxicosis it is advisable to grow broiler chickens of the domestic cross-country of "Smena -7" In the barley-wheat-sunflower-type animal feed of broiler chickens of this cross one should include the formulation of a mold inhibitor of methoxy - phenyl. During the second research and production experience for broiler chickens of “Smena-7” cross it has been found that with the joint supplements in animal feed to the high background of heavy metals and aflatoxin B1 preparations of beet pectin and methoxy - phenyl having absorption properties, there is an increase of slaughter and meat qualities. At the same time, the meat of poultry has increased its protein-quality score and decreased the concentration of heavy metals in the meat , which helps to improve consumer properties of poultry products
