  The article is dedicated to the literary analysis of two modern Russian novels (“This is a man” by E. Butin and “My senior brother Ieshua” by A. Lazarchuk). These two novels narrate about a life of the hero, whose name, destiny, speeches and contexts cause obligatory associations with an image of Jesus Christ from initial Gospels
