CURRENT STATE OF THE COLLECTION OF MEDICINAL PLANTS OF THE YAKUTSK BOTANICAL GARDEN
DescriptionThe article considers data on the stocktaking of plants in the collection of medicinal plants of the Yakut Botanical Garden on the following parameters: the study of the component composition, the inclusion in the Pharmacopoeia articles and the Russian State Register of medicinal products. Introduction test in the collection has been performed for 158 species from 99 genera and 41 families, currently the collection has 101 species from 79 genera and 34 families. Chemical composition of plants is known for 61 species. 17 species are pharmacopoeal and 15 species make medicinal products available. The rest of the medicinal plants can be used in folk medicine. Most represented are Asteraceae family (25), Ranunculaceae (20), Rosaceae (16), Fabaceae (15), Lamiaceae (13), among tested plants. According to the assessment of introduction capabilities, 49 species in the collection are highly stable, 51 - stable and just one is unstable

BIOLOGY OF SEED GERMINATION OF SOME SPECIES OF FAM. ROSACEAE JUSS
DescriptionWe have studied the germination and the nature of germination of seeds of 20 species of FAM. Rosaceae. A wide range of germination characterizes their seeds: rapid, slow, with very poor or no germination. Laboratory germination of seeds stored at room temperature for 6-7 months have 80-100% - 8 species, 66-77% - 3, 1-9% - 4 species and 5 species did not germinate at room temperature, they need special conditions for germination

DescriptionFeeding lactating dairy cows of the Simmental breed using the collection of herbs with Тhyмus bituminosus Klok, Achillea millefolium L., Polygonum aviculare L., Galium verum L, Chamerion angustifolium L., Sanguisórba officinális, Stellaria media L. and Amaranthus retraflexus L. contributed to a better digestibility and nutrient utilization of diets. A high level of digestibility by cows experimental compared to the control group is set with respect to the dry and organic matter of 2.0% and a crude protein 1.4 %. When using the collection of herbs, there was an increase in the antioxidant status of erythrocyte cells in blood of dairy cows as expressed in the increasing content of low molecular weight antioxidants in blood cells by 1.4 times in reducing the intensity of lipid peroxidation of erythrocyte membranes in 1,2 times, in comparison with the control values. The use of the collection of herbal increases milk yield of cows of the experimental group by 7.4 %, increases by the 16.2 % yield of milk fat and the protein content of 10.7 % in milk of dairy cows compared to the control group

SEED GERMINATION OF SPECIES RANUNCULACEAE OF YAKUT FLORA
DescriptionThe work was done based on the collection of the natural flora of the Yakut Botanical Garden. The object of research was the seeds of 22 species of the family Ranunculaceae. It is known that the seeds of many buttercup characterized morphophysiological tranquility associated with hypoplasia of the fetus (Nikolaeva, 1988; 1999), due to what delayed the germination of their seeds. Laboratory germination of seeds of the studied species varies from 0 to 100%. Among them, we have not found the kinds seeds which have explosive or fast germination (1 type of seed germination). The germination of the studied seeds states ranging from 6-7 days or more. The studied seeds were evenly distributed between 2 (12 species), and 3 types of seed germination (10 species). Type 2 is characterized by slow germination, type 3 - poor germination or lack of it

Description
The article presents the results of the studies on the variability of morphological traits of the cenopopulations of Allium prostratum, Allium ramosum on the natural territory of the Yakutsk Botanical Garden and in cultura. We have performed researches of biometric parameters, which revealed the structural features of the plant and the nature of the variability of their parts. The article also gives an estimation of coenopopulations vitality

RESOURCE POTENTIAL IN LUTEOLIN-7- GLYCOSIDE VERONICA INCANA (SCROPHULARIACEAE) IN CENTRAL YAKUTIA
DescriptionThe article reveals luteolin-7-glucoside accumulation in the overground part of Veronica incana L. It assesses resource potential of V. incana depending on the phytocenotic conditions of coenopopulations growing in Central Yakutia. Collection of the material was carried out during V. incana flowering in 7 coenopopulations and in the collection of the Yakut Botanical Garden. Analysis of flavonoids content was performed by HPLC method. The high levels of flavonoids content in the biomass of generative plants marked in coenopopulations that are in optimal conditions, and the lowest - in coenopopulations experiencing strong anthropogenic influence. In addition, one of the factors reducing the content of flavonoids in plants is low light intensity in habitat. The highest resource potential on the luteolin-7- glucoside observed in biomass V. incana, growing in fescue grassland steppe and culture

Description
The article gives the results of the study of an effect of mechanochemical powder of wood green of Abies (MPA) on potato morphogenesis in vitro. The study involved the hormone-free nutrient mediums (MS, ½ B5, ½ LS) for growing microcuttings from preliminary obtained aseptic plants. Plant morphogenesis was observed on the 15th and 30th days. At that, the number of developed shoots, plant height, leaves number, rhizogenesis rates, root number and length were estimated. MPA appeared to have the regulatory effect on morphogenesis of potato microcuttings. Based on mineral composition of the nutrient agar medium for potato microcuttings growing, MPA at 100 mg/l concentration induced root development (½ B5 medium), reduced height of shoots (MS medium), while the number of leaf blades was not affected
