05.20.00 Processes and machines of agroengineering systems
Description
The article analyzes the patented in different countries methods of using of the ionizing radiation in processes of storing and processing of plant materials. Description of nature of the radioactive treatment and the ionizing radiation is given; examples of possible sources of the ionizing radiation are listed. Advantages and disadvantages of the radioactive treatment are shown. The patent search in databases of the WIPO was carried out. Patents, registered in countries like Korea, China, Japan, etc., were analyzed. Methods, realization of which allows sterilizing of material and increasing its storing period, and also improving its processing, were systematized. The carried out survey of the patent documentation revealed, that at the present time there is quite a number of methods of using of the ionizing radiation in storing and processing of plant materials, which can be explained by the fact, that irradiation allows to solve quite effectively a number of important tasks, such as sterilizing the material and modifying chemical substances in its content. In the article it is also shown, that, nevertheless, issues of safety and quality of irradiated products have not yet been fully resolved. In the end, the conclusion was made about the relevance of further research in this field

Description
The article provides an analysis of currently known technologies and methods of production of food supplements based on vegetable raw materials. It has been established that a great interest from the standpoint of macro and micronutrients we have for nutritional supplements baseв on artichoke. Our analysis led to the conclusion that, despite the significant number of developed and implemented newest technologies, the development of complex processing of vegetable raw materials to produce dietary supplements is still relevant. Researches in the field of enriched and functional bakery and pastry products are actual and timely, with a special importance in the manufacture of such products of food additives, positively affecting the quality of finished products, and containing a complex of vitamins, food fibers, macro - and microelements

06.02.00 Veterinary and Husbandry
Description
Providing the population with basic foodstuffs, sources of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and other essential nutrients is one of the main issues of ensuring the security of the country, while the requirement for food safety is paramount. Production of feed additives (concentrates), which improve feed conversion, while being natural and safe for animal health, acquires the greatest importance in the conditions of intensification of agriculture and increasing the competitiveness of livestock farms. Probiotic microflora, which, in competition with pathogenic, displaces the latter from the gastrointestinal tract, can be considered as one of the effective methods of controlling undesirable microflora in the digestive tract. In world science, research is actively conducted in the direction of searching for effective probiotic cultures. A promising way to increase the effectiveness of the use of probiotic feed additives is their addition to prebiotics, for example, including vitamins (antioxidants) and mineral substances (selenium). The purpose of this work was to determine the optimal ratio of biologically active substances contained in the feed vitamin-mineral concentrate, and probiotic microflora contained in the feed probiotic additive Bacell-M, for the development of complex feed concentrate. Using the Harrington's desirability function, the optimum ratio of biologically active substances and probiotic microflora in the recipe of the complex feed concentrate is determined, ensuring the maximum reduction in the serum levels of alanine aminotransferase in the blood serum of experimental animals, which characterizes the normalization of barrier organs

THE EFFECT OF FEED RATIONS ON THE PRODUCTIVITY OF HOLSTEIN-FRIESIAN BREED BULL CALVES
Description
The article presents the results of scientific and industrial experience in identifying the effect of feed additives on the productivity and biochemical parameters of bull calves’ blood in fattening. The calves of Holstein-Friesian breed at the age of 30 days were selected as objects of research. In the diet of the bull calves of the experimental groups, we used feed additives in the main diet: probiotic feed additive “Cellobacterin+”, feed vitamin-mineral concentrate “Tetra+”, complex feed concentrate. We found that the most active weight gain is observed in the group of calves that received complex feed concentrate. In all experimental groups of bull calves, we observed a decrease in the activity of hepato-indicator enzymes and a thymol sample. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the use of the complex feed concentrate containing biologically active substances and the additive “Cellobacterin+” (in comparison with the control and other experimental groups) leads to maximizing the increase in the average mass of bull calves, which is associated with the synergistic effect of biologically active substances and living microorganisms Enterococcus faecium 1 - 35. The same tendency is observed with respect to the activity of hepato-indicator enzymes - AST and ALT, which, compared with the control group, decreases by 35.6% and 28.2%, respectively

06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
The article shows the historically developed situation and the actual state of the production practice in chronic mycotoxicosis of a bird. The main feed problems in poultry farming are shown through the prism of a review of market proposals for feed concentrates. An overview of preventive and compensating agents on the market, as well as a brief description of feed concentrates based on beta-carotene for fighting mycotoxicosis. It is shown that the vitamin-mineral fodder concentrate "Tetra +" is an alternative to the existing feed concentrates on the market, the effectiveness of which has been confirmed in experiments on laboratory animals and in poultry feeding. Based on the analysis, a conclusion was made about the relevance of studies to identify the effectiveness of vitamin-mineral concentrate "Tetra +" in livestock

RESEARCH OF QUALITY, SAFETY AND CONTENT OF BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCES OF FOOD RED BEET
Description
The article presents results of research of quality, safety and content of biologically active substances of food red beet roots of Bordo 237 variety, grown in the Krasnodar region in 2014. On the basis of the research carried out it was established, that there are carbohydrates, proteins, organic acids and mineral substances in the food red beet roots of Bordo 237 variety. Food red beet roots are a source of dietary fibers (pectin, protopectin, hemicelluloses and cellulose), possessing antitoxic, antioxidant, radiation protective, cholesterol-lowering and lipid correcting qualities, and also a source of vitamins C, B9 (folic acid) and P-active substances, possessing antioxidant properties. Due to high content in food red beet of a complex of microelements – iron, zinc, manganese and copper, and a complex of macro elements – potassium and magnesium, it can be recommended for prophylaxis and treatment of hypertension, atherosclerosis and other diseases of heart and vascular system, and for prophylaxis of iron-deficiency anemia. Thus, the research of quality, safety and content of biologically active substances showed that food red beet roots of Bordo 237 variety are a high quality component ingredient for creation of food products of specialized and functional purpose

Description
Long-term storage of fruits can be achieved by means of their special preparation by pre-treatment before storage by electromagnetic fields of extremely low frequency (ELF EMF). In the current study patterns of influence of ELF EMF pre-treatment of fruits on the effectiveness of reducing microbial contamination during storage for the development of effective technological modes of preparation of fruits before storage are revealed. Qualitative and quantitative characteristics of microbial contamination of the fruits’ surface were studied. Effective modes of fruits (apples and pears) treatment by ELF EMF were established - for apples: frequency - 22 Hz, current - 10 A for 40 minutes, and for pears: frequency - 26 Hz, current - 5 A for 50 minutes, allowing to reduce to the maximum extent the microbial contamination of their surface, and also to reduce the loss of their weight from microbial spoilage during storage. The terms of storage of processed by ELF EMF fruits under refrigeration were established - for apple varieties Idared and Golden Delicious - within 8 months, for pear variety Conference - for 7 months
