LEAF MORPHOMETRY OF KUBAN WILD-GROWING GRAPE LIANA
Description
Leaf morphometry of Kuban wild-growing grape liana has not been studied yet and there is no evidence of straight subspecies representatives location of Vitis vinifera silvestris Gmel. on the Kuban land. Though there have been suppositions about it in science since long ago [5]. With morphometric taxonomy appearance there was necessity of exact focusing on modern state of genotypic grape variety and biological leaf polymorphism for link identification silvestris – silvesatis - sativa

EFFECT OF TYPE OF FORMATION OF CROWN TO CONTENT PIGMENTS IN APPLE TREE LEAVES
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
The results of studies of the effect of different types of formation to the content of pigments in the leaves of apple trees in the central zone of Horticulture Kuban Krasnodar region. It is determined, that the content of chlorophyll «a» and «b» in the leaves is seasonal and depends on the biology class. The highest amount of chlorophyll in the leaves of apple in the autumn varieties (Prima, Gala) cultivars has been observed in August, in the winter varieties (Reinette Simirenko, Florine) - in September

EXTRACTION OF DNA FROM HERBARIUM LEAVES VITIS VINIFERA L.
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
Two methods were used for DNA extraction from herbarium leaves of two subspecies: V. vinifera subsp. sativa D.C. и Vitis vinifera ssp. silvestris Gmel. DNA extraction is difficult from herbarium leaves plants because of the presence of metabolites that interfere with DNA isolation procedures and downstream applications such as DNA restriction, amplification, and cloning. The quality of DNA was checked on a spectrophotometer by measuring the level of absorption at A260/280 nm. The results showed the successful extraction from mature and dried leaves of DNA when using the СТАB-method №2. Another method hasn’t shown satisfactory results in amplification of DNA

EXTRACTION OF DNA FROM LEAVES OF VITIS VINIFERA L.
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
Extraction of the DNA from leaves of genus Vitis is a very difficult task, as a grape has a lot of elements, which make difficult to use it in the genetic manipulation. In that article used the methods of extraction of the DNA with silica (SiO2) particles as the absorbent material for getting better quality DNA

DIMITRA - A NEW GREEK-RUSSIAN HIGH QUALITY WINE BLACK BERRY VARIETY OF GRAPE
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
The Dimitra variety is a hybrid, which was made as the result of Greek and Russian scientific collaboration in Greece, by Pantiley Zamanidi and Leonid Troshin in 2001 by hybridization of Aigeogritiko variety and Merlot. On its morphological characteristics it is included in the group of the Black sea varieties (convar. pontica subconvar. balcanica Negr.). The production period is 146-155 days. The leave is middle or big, black-green, five lobes, deep dissected. The middle weight of bunch is 300 g, the form is cylinder conical, middle density or friable. The berry is middle, not colored, with low labrusk taste. The yield is high. The sugariness is high. The quantity of seed in the berry is one or two. It has higher frost resistance; drought resistance and higher steadiness to mushroom diseases compare with the parents varieties. The variety is using for making desert dry red wine of outstanding quality

MORPHOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF LEAF AMPELOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
Description
Modern ampelography has reached the newest level of usage of the latest achievements of multimedia techniques and computing means of handling and analysis of assembled information. An adult leaf is a sort of "passport" of the breed, and the most important significance among set of descriptive characteristics is attached to it. For decrypting of the numeral information of leaves, it is offered to use SIAMS company toolkit, in particular - the SIAMS MesoPlant analyzer. In this article, the technique of reading (decrypting) of a leaf ampelographical information from alive and dry samples and the biometric analysis for level of morphotypical establishment of objects of researches is resulted

MORPHOMETRY OF LEAVES OF THE KUBAN WILD-GROWING LIANAS OF GRAPE
Description
The morphometry of leaves of the Kuban wild-growing lianas of grape, as we know, is not learnt till now and availability of quoters of pure subspecies of Vitis vinifera silvestris Gmel is not demonstrated., though suppositions about this information soared in the scientific environment as old as Adam [5]. With the advent of a direction of morphometry taxonomy there was a necessity of accurate bracing of a current state of a genotypical diversity of lianas and biological polymorphism of leaves for link establishment silvestris - silvesatis - sativa
