Description
The article is devoted to analyses of state of mathematical skills of art students. The low level of their mathematical culture is stated and new approaches to the construction of mathematical course on the basic of contextual approach and careful selection of contents with regard for professionally meaningful problems are suggested. The stages of knowledge systematization are considered an parallels between them and the corresponding sections of mathematics courses are made.

The paper discusses experience in using the adaptive model of teaching informatics emphasizing innovational pedagogical techniques and information technologies. An analysis is made of the influence of the adaptive model on improvement of the quality of education and on the formation of professional competence (IT-competence) in the future specialists.

The article deals with the problems of forming of informational culture of art students in the process of learning informatics courses. The state of the preparation future teachers in the information technologies is analyzed and the approximate contents of the informatics courses, corresponding to the criteria of formed informational culture are suggested.
