DescriptionThe article reflects the results of experimental studies in heterosis breeding of corn. We defined the common (CCA) and specific (SCA) combining ability of the new material. We also obtained the valuable inbreeding lines and testers of corn, created based on these new hybrids. The final step was the evaluation of hybrids and calculation of economic efficiency of their implementation. As a result of the work, it was allocated the three hybrid combinations of corn and suggested to examine them in strain testing

APPLICATION OF OZON GENERATORS IN APICULTURE DURING THE SPRING BUILD-ING-UP OF BEE FAMILIES
DescriptionIn the article we have represented the following items: the sphere of utilization of the ozone in apiculture, the mathematical model which establishes connection between level of development of bee families and parameters of in-hive microclimate and allows to theoretically substantiate the spring development up to 35 % as a result of ozone treatment; the results of experimental investigations of the influence of ozone treatment parameters on the spring increasing of bee families; feasibility study of ozone generators' application in apiculture; recommendation for application of the results of investigation are given

Description
In the article we have represented the following items: heating model of discharge device of the ozone gen-erator which allows to examine the transient process and establishes dependence of heating time constant of the dielectric barriers on constructive parameters of discharge device. The rational parameters of design of the ozone generator for in-hive treatment of the bee families are defined; recommendations for utilization of the results of investigations are given
