PRUNING OF FRUIT-BEARING ORCHARDS OF APPLE ON MIDDE TALL ROOTSTOCKS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionIn the North Caucasus there is about 50% of fruit plantations of the old type: stocks with strong and low power of growth, planting density from 320 to 416 trees/ha. The trees reach 6 feet high, the crown is thickened, minor crops and poor quality. One of the main causes of low profitability of such plantations is low intensity of pruning

BIOLOGICAL MARKERS FOR SELECTION ON THE FROST RESISTANCE OF WINTER WHEAT AND BARLEY FORM
DescriptionWe have described the theoretical assumptions and methodological solutions in the present review. They are innovative possibilities in the development of laboratory methods for assessing biological features of grain during the selection process

Description
An approach to the valuation technique of decorative signs Syrian Hibiscus (Hibiscus syriacus L.) is suggested. A scale consisting of 15 characters is developed. Each attribute in this scale is evaluated and indexed by the coefficient of the importance of this trait afterwards. General guidance of the evaluation of each decorative feature is given

06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionIn the article we show the investigations of aromatic wine produced from grapes of Sauvignon blanc grown in AF South in Temryuk District. As a result, the article estimates obtained good organoleptic characteristics of the taste, within 7.3-7.9 points, which is higher than the passing score. It was found that the greatest negative impact on the formation of mutual organoleptic properties have such flavors as metilatse-tal and the amount of volatile acids

USING OF SSR MARKERS IN GENETIC STUDIES OF PRUNUS GENUS
DescriptionThis article discusses the actual problem of using SSR-markers in studies of the genus Prunus. We have examined the works on the most important cultures of genus, collected and analyzed contemporary literature of the subject. Data of the initial stage of Prunus SSR-based genetic diversity study in the North-Caucasian region has been described in the presented publication

MOLECULAR-GENETICS BASE OF APPLE SELF-INCOMPATIBILITY
DescriptionEstimation of self-incompatibility allelic diversity in Russian apple varieties was conducted. We have established S-allele gene set for a number of varieties. The most common allele of gene was identified. Alleles frequency data obtained are consistent with those in the world apple germplasm

06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionIn the article we have studied biological and morphological features of perspective varieties of apple-trees of different ecological and geographical origins. Taking into account the requirements of intensive gardening we have defined biometrics, water regime, allowed to estimate the variety and determine its ecological plasticity. We have allocated apple-tree varieties of native selection such as Krasna Darya, Kuban scarlet, Peach, Renet Kuban and Pamyat Easulu; introduced varieties: Enterprise, Fuji, Red Chief, Golden Bee for sortment renewal and creation of intensive plantations of apple-trees in the Chechen Republic

APPROBATION OF MICROSATELLITE DNA-MARKERS FOR IDENTIFICATION OF APPLE CLONES
DescriptionAs the result of the work, the test of microsatellite DNA markers for the identification of genomic polymorphism between apple cultivars Florina, Golden Delicious and clonal forms has been done. With the high level of intervarietal polymorphism, studied DNA markers showed no allelic differences between varieties and their clonal forms
