Description
Diagnosis by PCR-RFLP (polymerase chain reaction – polymorphism of the lengths of restriction fragments) is the standard analysis of point mutations for the diagnosis of allelic polymorphism of candidate genes related with productive qualities of farm animals. Along the length of the fragments (RFLP) make a conclusion about the absence or presence of the point mutation, and homozygosity or heterozygosity of the individual.
