It is shown that the combination of the cold equal channel pressing with low-temperature annealing leads to the formation of a sub-microcrystalline ferritic matrix hardened with nanoscale particles of the carbide phase in steel 09G2S. Resulting structure leads to the achievement of the high-strength state, as well as a significant reduction of the wear intensity of the material
