DescriptionThe article is devoted to the actual problem of social psychology - joint activity in small groups of young people and conditions of its productivity. Historical and psychological, methodological and empirical prob-lems of socio-psychological research of orientation (prevenient part of joint activity), which provide pro-ductivity of joint activity, were analyzed in the article. The prevenient part of joint activity is considered as a component of the structure of joint activity. As the result of empirical research, the general problem of orientation and its’ influence on effectiveness of activ-ity were brought to light.
