Description
The aim of the research is to assess the effect of different kinds of non-drug correction of climacteric disorders on the sexual function in female patients with metabolic syndrome during the period of fading of the ovaries. The research includes 330 women aged 45-50 and having metabolic symptoms. Three groups were formed: the main group, the first control group, and the second control group. In the main group the non-drug treatment (diet therapy, psychotherapy, physical therapy, exercise therapy) and the vitaminmineral treatment were combined. In the first control group, only non-drug treatment was used. In the second control group, only the vitamin-mineral treatment was used. The marital status was determined. The female sexual function index (FSFI) was determined based on six parameters – desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, and pain – before the treatment and six months after the treatment. It was identified that sexual disorders are of complex character in the women of the studied group; very common is the loss of libido. The results show the highest effectiveness of the complex approach (nondrug treatment combined with the vitamin-mineral treatment) in the sexual dysfunction correction in female patients with metabolic syndrome in the climacteric period compared to the use of only the stated methods of non-drug treatment or only the vitamin-mineral treatment

SELECTION OF FETAL CELLS CIRCULATING IN MATERNAL BLOOD FOR NONINVASIVE PRENATAL DIAGNOSIS
DescriptionTrophoblast cells circulating in maternal blood may serve as potential sources of genetic information for screening in obstetric practice approaches to noninvasive prenatal diagnosis. The material for the study was whole blood of pregnant women of gestational ages of 8-12 weeks in a volume of 10 ml. stabilized with heparin. Enrichment was performed by the method of gradient centrifugation and magnetic separation (CD45–) with fluorescent staining negative fractions labeled with antibodies to antigens of trophoblasts (HLA-G, and Trop-2) to conduct flow cytometry and sorting of cells on glass slides. Single cell candidates using laser micro dissection were transferred into a vial for subsequent whole-genome amplification, providing sufficient representativeness of their genome. Fetal origin of the genetic material was confirmed by comparison of alleles of the HLA genes of the parents and cells candidates. It is possible to improve significantly the accuracy and versatility of non-invasive prenatal diagnosis using comparative genomic hybridization using chips (аCGH)

Pathology of digestive organs is high on the list in structure of diseases of children and teenagers. Now many pediatricians face that teenagers at the same time have several diseases. The most exact method of detection of the available pathology is medical examination. These inspections of rural teenagers with chronic gastroenterological pathology are given in article. The carried-out work allowed revealing the main features of a state of health of this contingent

THE MATHEMATICALLY BASED CHOISE OF VISCOELASTIC IN SHUNT GLAUCOMA SURGERY
DescriptionThe dramatic lowering of intraocular pressure (hypotony) is developing during glaucomatous surgery due to the formation of the new aqueous humor outflow. The calculations of the flow in the fluid balance parameters have shown, that for the normal intraocular pressure maintenance in the postoperative period the fluid flow out of the anterior chamber should not exceed 0,04 microliter in minute. The intensity of the aqueous humor outflow through the shunts with different parameters does not depend on the shunt length. The shunt with the inner hole radius 0,025 mm is the most safe as it provide the less outflow. The experimental comparative study of the static viscosity of the most widely used viscoelastics in ophthalmological surgery was carried out. It was stated that used in eye surgery viscoelastics on the basis of 1%, 2% and 3% sodium hyaluronate possess the viscosity, that differs in 10 and 100 times and has significant influence on the flow intensity out of the anterior chamber when the new outflow tracts are formed. The mathematically based choice of the most optimal relationship between the viscoelastics physical parameters and the inner hole size of the shunt type glaucoma drainage devices was established. Shunt with the inner hole radius 0,05 mm and simultaneous use of 2% and 3% sodium hyaluronate solution is the most safe for the maintenance of the eye tonus during the first 5 days after glaucoma surgery. The presented correlation allows to increase the safety of the surgical treatment of the patients with the refractory glaucoma
