Description
The article describes the process of adoption of dance vocabulary terms. Terms, language units, which reflect cultural peculiarities of a definite people, facts of ethnic contacts, social, economic and cultural connections between linguistic collectives are objects of adoption. Process of adoption is characteristic for every language, and in particular, for English language vocabulary. Adoption is fulfilled by the language carrier or by means of a language-source, or through translation of foreign text.

Description
Problem of regulation and standardization of scientific-technical terminology is considered in the article. Under regulation of terminology it is possible to create new terms. Regulation is central one, and more important terminological work, which is summarized from some stages. Especially the urgent problem is the problem of selection of special vocabulary and creation of the academic terminological vocabulary on its basis. Academic terminological vocabulary, based on the systemic-structural approach to the study of vocabulary, allows not only to determine content of a term, but to present the whole system of meanings of such and such branches of science and technology in whole.
