ENZYME ACTIVITY OF SEVERAL SOILS OF THE CRIMEA
DescriptionThe article considers the enzymatic activity and some other ecological and biological properties of zonal soils of the Crimea (cambisol, Chromic cambisol, different subtypes of chernozems). We have revealed significant differences in catalase, dehydrogenase, polyphenol oxidase, peroxidase, invertase for soils of the Crimea, which can not be explained only by the content of soil organic matter. Despite the low humus content of the soil, some have a high level of some enzymes. The level of enzyme activity depends on the reaction medium, the content of carbonate and other soil properties. We have also revealed that the agricultural use of brown soils under vineyards leads to a significant change in their properties and enzymatic activity

PAINTINGS IN TEACHING THE DISCIPLINE OF "GENETIC MONITORING"
DescriptionThe article deals with the use of paintings as illustrative and analytical material in the course of "Genetic monitoring", like sections of "Human Genetics", "Epigenetics". Using the paintings of great artists as the visual material in the learning process performs several tasks: analytical, informational and resourcefu

The article discusses the features of the accumulation of essential oil in the collection samples of Oregano studied in the foothill zone of the Crimea. The range of variability of the mass fraction of essential oil of Origanum vulgare (from trace amounts to 0.53% of the bone dry weight). We have revealed that the greatest amount of essential oil accumulates in the inflorescences during the flowering phase

Description
The stability of strongly basic anion-exchange membranes MA-41-2P (JSC "Schekino-Nitrogen", Russia) and AMX (Tokuyama Soda, Japan) under intensive current regimes was investigated in the current study. The process of water molecules dissociation at current densities above the limiting one in 0.01 M sodium chloride solution was studied in detail. The length of the electroconvective instability at the membrane / solution interface at currents exceeding the limiting current was measured by laser interferometry

Description
In the article the mathematical model of the space charge region in the bipolar membrane is considered. The structure of the space charge region under passing of electric current, and without electric current is discussed. The results of experimental studies of water dissociation in the bipolar membrane in the presence of chromium(III) are discussed
