DESTRUCTION OF HYDROCARBONS WITH VARIOUS MORPHOTYPES OF OIL OXIDIZING ACTINOBACTERIA
DescriptionIn this article we have carried out a comparative study of hydro-carbon-oxidizing activity of S-and R-morphological types of oil oxidizing Actinobacteria from the collection of Kuban State University. Signifi-cant differences observed in parameters of growth between S- and R-forms of oil oxidizing Actinobacte-ria. In S-forms it is higher than the maximum specific growth rate, which is typical for a wide range of hy-drocarbon degradation and a high degree of degrada-tion of pollutants. In experiments with the use of oil as a substrate and heavy oil S-forms, Actinobacteria quickly adapted to the environmental conditions

HORSERADISH PEROXIDASE IMMOBILIZATION IN CALCIUM ALGINATE HYDROGEL AND MICROPARTICLES
DescriptionIn the article two differently obtained preparations of immobilized horseradish peroxidase are compared with free enzyme and with each other by their stability. It is shown that both preparations of immobilized peroxidase possess increased stability during storage and heating. It is established that activity of hydrogel obtained increases after heating

THE CONCEPT OF “UNDERSTATEMENT”: COGNITIVE-ASSOCIATIVE ANALYSIS
10.00.00 Philological sciences
DescriptionThe concept of “Understatement| is considered in the article from the angle of an associative approach. The author analyses the associative connections of the word “Understatement”, which allows figuring out a specific inner structure of the meaning, a deep system of interconnections, underlying native speakers’ cognitive picture of the world. The ethno-cultural peculiarities of the concept of “Understatement” in the English language are emphasized by means of mapping the corresponding lexical groups, comparing value judgments and set expressions, based on behavioral stereotypes. While analyzing the concept sphere of “Understatement” the author underlines the representativeness and relevance of the studied concept, which reveals the most important characteristics of the Anglo Saxon society, as well as its connection with some mental and language categories

NEUTRALIZATION OF HERBICIDE NEGATIVE IMPACT ON SUGAR BEET WITH BIOSTIMULATORS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionMost modern chemicals designed to protect crop also actually cause negative effects on the protected plants mostly due to side effects and/or not following the application procedures correctly. It is possible to neutralize the negative effects of herbicides they have on cultivated plants with precise use of immunostimulants which will increase the plants' natural immunity against the negative effects of biotic and abiotic environmental factors

DescriptionThe article considers measuring scales as a tool for creating formal models of real objects and a tool for increasing the degree of formalization of these models to a level sufficient to implement them on computers. It also describes the different types of measuring scales, allowing to create models of varying degrees of formalization; lists the types of transformation valid during the processing of empirical data obtained with scales of different types; develops the task of metriza-tion of the scales, i.e. conversion to the most formalized mind; it proposes 7 ways of metrization of all the types of scales, providing a joint comparable quantitative processing of heterogeneous factors measured in different units of measure due to the conversion of all scales to one universal unit of measurement in which the measurement number of information is selected. All of these methods of metrization have been implemented in the system-cognitive analysis and in the Eidos intellectual system

Description
In the article we have estimated sorption capacity of sorbents and analyzed the factors influencing it; we have also selected the optimal conditions for the sorption process, depending on the circumstances and nature of the treatment facilities. The possibility of purification of oil-contaminated water from heavy metal ions synthesized inorganic sorbent has been shown

HOW TO USE SOLID WASTE OF OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY IN CERAMIC BRICKS PRODUCTION
DescriptionIn this article the recycling problem of solid waste of oil and gas industry is observed. We have developed the bases of resource saving technology for minimizing exhausted sorbents and catalysts pollution with their using as silica-containing additives in raw mix for production of ceramic bricks of standard quality
