MODERN METHODS AND FACILITIES OF DECLINE OF TOXIC LEVEL OF WORKING GASES OF DIESEL ENGINES
DescriptionThe problem of environmental protection from toxic contamination, i.e. toxic products contained in exhaust gases, is one of the most pressing in the modern world. Currently, internal combustion engines and vehicles of transport and technological machines rank first in power supply in the global energy balance. The total amount of pollutants released into the atmosphere by tank-automotive equipment exceeds more than three times the emissions released by industrial companies. Besides the vast majority of tracked and wheeled vehicles are equipped with diesel engines, which excel gasoline engines in harmful substances released together with exhaust gases. Therefore the problem of emission control becomes more and more urgent. The aim of this study is the analysis of modern means and methods of reducing the toxicity of exhaust gases released by diesel engines. The existing methods of emission control can be divided into four groups: improving the design of the internal combustion engine; the accounting of operational factors affecting the toxicity of exhaust gases; the use of unconventional fuels; the exhaust gases cleaning in the exhaust pipe. Each method has several major ways to reduce the emission of toxic substances, which are often mutually complementary. We have cited the research date of influencing each of the methods on the emissions of toxic substances in exhaust gases. We have found that reducing the emission of toxic substances in compliance with Euro-6 requirements can only be obtained by the simultaneous use of several methods of reducing emissions. We have proved the effectiveness and economic feasibility of using combined neutralizers to clean exhaust gases

Description
The article explains the importance of the transport process when performing repair jobs of asphalt roads. The scheme of the technological process was drawn up; job steps were identified, while the latter may be characterized by non-productive downtime of transport as well as that one of technological machines. We have analyzed the following steps of the flowchart of the road concrete mix transportation: the preparation of the road concrete mix for transportation, loading, transportation, unloading, laying and packing. The transportation of goods starts at the working site of their production and ends at the site of their consumption. The transportation process is a multistep and multioperational process having the greater diversity of technological, operational and economic operations, which must be correctly organized. It is extremely important to deliver the road concrete mix of coating plant (OP) just in time, while avoiding the unproductive idle standing of the equipment, the deterioration of the mixture, as well as performing the job steps at minimum transportation cost savings. The successful combining of the steps of the concept organization of the road concrete mix transportation (coating plant, asphalt laying step, transportation step) will improve the performance and will provide the reduction of the job cost. One must perform the coordination of job steps on different road sections using information technologies and communication facility

THE METHOD OF THE DRYING GRAIN INTENSIFICATION WITH ACTIVE VENTILATION USING MICROWAVERECYCLING
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe need of improving the grain drying technology is due to a significant volume of this operation, high specific energy and high standards to preserve quality of grain. In this regard, the development of new technologies and equipment aimed at reducing the cost of fuel and electricity, providing the preservation of grain quality has essential meaning to reduce the drying cost. Usually, the electrophysical effects on the dehydrated material not only contribute to the thickness reduction or destruction of the boundary layers and increase the surface of phase contact, i.e. they cause the combined effects of the intensification of the drying process that is economically favorable and they say for a broader practical use of electrotechnologies. Method of grain drying using microwave recycling in installations of active aeration bunker type allows increasing productivity compared with standard technology for up to 30% and reducing process energy consumption by 17%

THEORETICAL FOUNDATION OF PARAMETERS FOR AN AUXILIARY RECHARGEABLE POWER PLANT FOR A MILKING UNIT
DescriptionWe establish the following parameters for an auxiliary rechargeable power plant: power rating of the inverter, battery capacity, and power output of the wind turbine, operational wind speed, and design dimensions of the wind turbine. It is shown, that a wind-driven rechargeable power plant is most cost-effective at the wind speed of 6 m/s
