ACADEMICIAN ERYOMIN GRADE - THE GRAPE WINE INNOVATION WITH THE PAINTED PULP OF BERRIES

Description
The grade of grapes "Academician Eryomin" is introduced in Greece by P.Zamanidi and L.Troshin in 2002 by crossing of Greek Trapsa grade with French Alikant Bush. Duration of production period is 146-155 days. Productivity is very high. The average weight of clusters is 230 gr. It differs by high winter hardiness, drought resistance and raised stability to mushroom illnesses in comparison with grades of Vitis vinifera. The flower is hermaphroditic. Grapes are average size, conic, average density. A berry of average size, roundish, blue-black color, with dense wax touch. A peel is tight. Pulp and juice are intensively painted, with the sort taste. Sugar content is high. Grapes are dried when overripen, concentration of sugars thus reaches 30 and more units. The grade is intended for manufacturing of intensively painted dry red wines of an excellent class, and also high-quality dessert and sweet wines; it is suitable for manufacturing of high-quality juices as well

SERRA - NEWEST HIGH QUALITY WINE MUSCAT GRAPE VARIETY WITH COLORED PULP AND JUICE

Description
Newest wine Muscat grape variety with colored pulp and juice Serra was breeded at Athens Institute of Viticulture (Greece) by P.Zamanidi and L.Troshin in 2007 by crossing the Ukrainian Odessa black variety (Alicante Bouschet x Cabernet Sauvignon) with the new Greek Muscat black berry Krimbas variety. According to the morphological and physiological characteristics it is included in the eco-geographical group of Black Sea Coast. Length of production period is 146-155 days. Strong growth of shoots (2,1-3,0 m). Percentage of productive shoots is over 90. Productivity is very high: 25-30 t / ha. Average weight is 350 g. Grapes characterized with high resistance to cold, drought and increased resistance to fungal diseases in comparison with varieties of Vitis vinifera. Flower is hermaphrodite, with the stamens and fully developed gynoecium. Cluster is medium, conical, sometimes with wing, medium density. Berry is small, round, blue-black, with a thick waxy coating. Peel of medium thickness, dense, durable. Pulp and juice are intensely colored, flavored with Muscat taste. Sugar content is very high, in the bushes at sun-dried bunches up to more than 40%. Radchevskii in 2007 by crossing the Greek varieties Afoos (Mavrodafni x Alicante Boucher) with Ukrainian variety Odessa black (Alicante Bouchet x Cabernet Sauvignon). PATRIS – A NEW GREECE-RUSSIAN WINE HIGHER QUALITY BLACK BERRY VARIETY

Description
The Patris variety is a hybrid, which was made as the result of Greece-Russian scientific collaboration in Greece by Panteley Zamanidi and Leonid Troshin in 2001 year by hybridization of Aigeorgitiko and Cabernet Sauvignon variety. By its morphological characteristics, it is included to the group of the Black sea varieties (convar. pontica subconvar. balcanica Negr.). The production period is 156-165 days. The growth of shoots is big. The yield is very high. The weight of bunch is 250 g. It has good frost resistance, drought resistance and higher steadiness to mushroom diseases, comparing with the parents varieties of Vitis vinifera L. The leave is middle, black-green, five lobes, deep divided, bubbles on the higher plate are low, the hairs are low on the upper side and intense on the bottom. The flower is hermaphrodite. The bunch is middle, cylinder conical or wrinkle, low density. The berry is middle, round, blue-black color. The skin is dense. The pulp is juicy with paslen taste. The sugariness of juice is high. The variety is used for making dry red wines of outstanding quality

New complex-steady black berry technical kind of a grape - "Aleksampelo" is breed in Greece by P.Zamanidi and L.Troshin in 2003 by mating of Firstborn Magaracha with a mixture of blossom dust of Greek black berry sorts of Bakuri and Mavrostifo. Duration of productional phase is 146-155 days. This sort is сильнорослый. A degree of ripening of a vine is very high. Productivity is high. The medial mass of racemations is 230 gr. It differs with high winter-hardiness, drought resistance and raised sustainability to fungous diseases in comparison with sorts of Vitis vinifera L.; it is tolerant to a phylloxera. A flower is bisexual. A racemation is medial, cylinder-conical, medial denseness. A bacca is medial, roundish, blue - black colour, with a dense wax coating. A peel is tight, strong. Pulp and juice with the expressed high quality flavour. Sugar content of juice of baccas is very high. The crop is maintained on bushes duratingly enough. Description
New wine grape flavored pink berry grape variety named “Radost Leonidov” breed at Athens Institute of Viticulture by P.Zamanidi, L.Troshin and P.Radchevskii in 2009 by crossing the new Moskhoragos Greek muscat variety with old European variety Traminer pink. According to morphological and biological characteristics, it can be assigned to Western European eco-geographical group of varieties. Strong growth of shoots (2,1-3,0 m). The extent of maturation of vines is very high (over the entire length, except for the top). Duration of production period from bud burst to harvest - 146-155 days. Productivity is high: 20-25 t / ha. The average weight of clusters is 260. Characterized by high winter hardiness, drought resistance and increased resistance to fungal diseases in comparison with the varieties of Vitis vinifera. Flower is hermaphrodite, fully developed stamens and gynoecium. Bunch is small, conical, sometimes winged, average density. Berry is small, spherical, pinkish in color, with a thick waxy coating. Description
The breed of grape of Hrisi Irini is bred in Greece by P.Zamanidi and L.Troshin in 2003 by mating of the Greek breed of Asirtiko with the French breed of Semilon. Duration of production period is 156-165 days. Growth of shoots is strong (2,1-3,0). Degree of ripening of a vine is very high. Productivity is high. Average mass of clusters is 200 Differs with high winter hardiness, drought resistance and the raised resistance to fungous diseases in comparison with breeds of Vitis vinifera L. Flower is bisexual. Description
The newest wine white-berry fruitful high-grade breed of grape - Pontos is bred in Greece P.Zamanidi and L.Troshin in 2003 by mating of the Greek breed of Sideritis with a breed of Sovignon. Duration of productivity phase is 156-165 days. A breed is tall. A degree of vines ripening is very high. Productivity is very high, 15-16 t/hectares and more. The medial mass of racemations is 390 gr. Differs with high winter-hardiness, drought resistance and raised sustainability to fungous diseases in comparison with breeds Vitis vinifera. A flower is bisexual. Racemations are big, pencil-point, with medial denseness. Baccas are average, circular, greenish-yellow color, with a dense wax coating. A peel is tight. Pulp and juice with the expressed high quality flavor. Sugar content is high. It dries when over-ripening and stays on bushes. MOSKHORAGOS - NEW WINE HIGH QUALITY MUSCAT GRAPE VARIETY

Description
Variety Moskhoragos is hybrid one: it was bred by Panteley Zamanidi, Leonid Troshin and Leonid Maltabar in 2001 in Greece by crossing of varieties Savvatyano and Muscat Alexander. By morphological-biological characteristics it was included in a group of varieties of the Black Sea basin (convar. pontica subconar. balcanica Negr.). Variety is new and that’s why it has limited spreading. Productive period length is 156-165 days. Length of shoots is 2,1 – 3.0 m. Degree of cane maturity is high – 81-95 %. Crop capacity is 25-30 t/ha. Percentage of fruit-bearing shoots is more than 90. Average cluster mass is 300 g. It differs with high cold resistance, drought resistance and increased resistance to fungi diseases in comparison with Muscat varieties Vitis vinifera L. During blossoming it can be recognized by a little crown of greenish-yellowish color with winy-red shade in the end part, shining surface of leaves with webby downiness in the lower part. First leaf is greenish, winy-red in edges, highly downy with both sides, second and third leaves are greenish-bronze, pentalobular, slightly webby –downy in the upper side and highly downy in the lower side. Fourth and fifth leaves are green with yellowish shade, brilliant, with rare webby downiness in the upper side and highly downy in the lower side. Shoot is green, with brown-reddish shade. Leaf is symmetrical. Leaf plate surface is large, dark-green, leaf’s form is pentagonal with five lobules, bladder surface is weak. Leaf edges have middle-acuminated dens, erect by both sides. Lower lobules are slightly overlapped. Leafstalk length is average. Inflorescence is cylindrical, often with antenna. Two inflorescences usually appear on one shoot on 4 or 5 nods and inflorescences appear on the shoots, grown from resting buds on perennial wood as well. Flower is monecious, normal. Ovary is round and ball-shaped. Pollen has normal shape, fertile. Cluster is average, cylindrical, alary, with average density. Berry is middle-sized, round, yellowish-green color. Flesh is juicy, sweet, with nice Muscat after-taste. Sugar content is high. Seed has an average length, light-brown, pear-shaped, with middle-sized beak. Variety is used for preparation of high quality table, strong and dessert wines of different categories.
