HOW TO SOLVE THE TASK OF CLASSIFICATION OF TYPES OF RIFLE AMMUNITION USING THE METHOD OF ASCANALYSIS
DescriptionIn forensics there is an urgent need to determine the type of rifle (automatic, rifle, large caliber pistol) depending on its used ammunition found at the scene of the use of weapons. We offer a solution to this problem with the use of new innovative method of artificial intelligence: automated system-cognitive analysis (ASC-analysis) and its program toolkitwhich is a universal cognitive analytical system called "Eidos". In the "Eidos" system we have implemented the software interface that allows posting of images and identifying their outer contours. By multivariable typing, the system creates a systemic-cognitive model, the use of which, if the model is sufficiently accurate, may be helpful in solving problems of system identification, prediction, classification, decision support and research of the modeled object by studying its model. For this task the following stages: 1) input images of ammunitions into the "Eidos" system and creation of their mathematical models; 2) the synthesis and verification of the models of generalized images of ammunition for types of weapons based on the contour images of specific munitions (multiparameter typing); 3) improving the quality of the model by separating classes for typical and atypical parts; 4) quantification of the similarities-the differences between specific types of munitions with generic images of different types of ammunition of the weapon (system identification); 5) quantification of the similarity-differences between types of ammunition, i.e. cluster-constructive analysis of generalized images of ammunition. A numerical example is given. We also possess a successful experience of solving similar problems in other subject areas

SOLUTION OF THE OPTIMIZATION PROBLEM FOR ELASTIC-DAMPING MECHANISM PARAMETERS IN PLOWING MODE
DescriptionThe article is devoted to finding of the optimum parameters for elastically damping mechanism (EDM) which is located in transmission of machine-tractor unit (MTU). The investigated MTU is based on the tractor of 1.4 class in plowing mode. EDM is designed for MTU in order to make its’ start smoothly, to reduce the dynamic load in transmission, to protect engine from the external load vibration. The “transmittance level” (index T) is used as evaluation of the protective mechanism quality. The study was carried out by means of the experiment planning method, viz. the central composition plan of second order with five factors. A regression model for response function (“transmittance level”) is given. This model takes into account the chosen EDM characteristics. The statistical analysis methods (Student’s t-test, Fisher’s test) were used to study the regression model. The dependence of response function on each factor apart, their cross impact on the process are described. The system of partial differential equations is obtained to find the optimal values of parameters and response function. The optimal value of a “transmittance level” can be obtained by varying different EDM parameter values. Optimal values of parameters and as result - response function - allow improving of MTU functioning in plowing mode

SPRINGS SOURCES OF RECREATIONAL ZONES AND PROBLEMS OF THEIR PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT
DescriptionThe article highlights the problems of protection and arrangement of spring sources of recreational and protected areas. The characteristics of the known and little-known springs of the mountain territories of the North Caucasus are given. The sources of KabardinoBalkaria are described in more detail. The results of investigations of a number of springs of mountain zones, which show high organoleptic qualities, are given. The characteristics of some mineral springs possessing medicinal properties are also given. A substantiation of the need for detailed studies of littleknown springs and natural monuments of the KBR and the North Caucasus, as well as the compilation of tourist routes to them and cadastral records. New architectural and technological solutions have been developed and proposed for the development of ascending and descending water sources, protected by patents for utility models. The tillage with moldboard plows is one of the energy-intensive operations in farming. In view of this, the search of the energy saving solutions and tillage aggregates receives priority. The use of rotary tillage tools based on the working body-mover with elliptic blades, which horizontal soil reaction parts are directed to favoring grade of the aggregate, and, therefore, apart from the performing engineering perform the body-mover functions, - is one of the effective ways of the energy cost reduction. The authors offer the development of the rotary cultivators based on the working body-mover with elliptic blades. The change of their design values allows the development of various profiles tools. The use of these working bodies based on rotary cultivators will allow the energy cost reduction by the tillage process, especially in the compartments of terrain, as the use of tractors with moldboard plows for the main tillage is problematic. ROTARY SCREW SYSTEMS IN CEMENT
DescriptionThe article presents results of research of rotary-screw systems in relation to the creation of rotary kilns for the annealing of-cuttings in the preparation of cement clinker. Using the proposed design, in comparison with known designs of similar purpose, it significantly improves performance, reduces size and power consumption through the use of rotary screw systems in the form of screw rotors and drums made hollow with sidewalls assembled from separate strips or plates of different geometrical shapes with form inside the screw breaks or smooth edges, screw surfaces and screw grooves. It is shown that the housing of the rotary kiln is expedient to produce helical surfaces whose centers of curvature are located within the housing. Using the proposed constructions rotary kiln during the firing when preparing cement wedge can increase the speed of rotation of the housing, furnaces 5-10 times due to changes in the rotary-screw systems increase efficiency and reduce the size of furnaces

ROTOR AND SCREW TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEMS FOR PREPARATION OF SOLUTIONS AND CONCRETE
DescriptionWe have provided technical solutions to improve performance of technological systems for the preparation of solutions and concrete based on the use of screw rotors in the form of drums with helix lines formed on the perimeter as interconnect lines of his spiral surfaces. We discuss the six varieties of devices and installations for mixing, including concrete mixers, reels which are of a complicated geometric body formed by helical surfaces with variable or constant pitch and which creates screw lines in the places of their connection. In the form of screw drums, they may be conical, concave, convex, cylindrical. The experimental test was conducted on the concrete mixer drums, which are arranged one in the other. The implementation of the mixer in the form of coaxially edited two barrels provides not only a reduction in size in length, but a significant reduction in energy consumption due to the use of heat, released during the activation process of inert heating of the concrete mix as when re-mixing and concrete mix when mixing it with water and transportation. The drums of such systems is made of flat elements with the formation of the helical lines discretely spaced around the perimeter of different pitch and with different numbers directed towards each other helical surfaces. In the process of transporting the components of concrete in the internal screw drum there is active mixture of sand, gravel and cement. Thus, there is not only the destruction of lumpy, sticky components of the raw materials, but also active uniform distribution of particles of cement, sand and gravel into a homogenous mass. The implementation of the proposed technology and equipment ensures not only reduction of the dimensions of the mixer length, but also improving the quality of finished products, as well as potential cement savings of 3-5%
