PROSPECTS FOR GROWING RUSSIAN LILAC CULTIVARS (SYRINGA VULGARIS L.) IN FINLAND
DescriptionCommon lilac (Syringa vulgaris L.), is one of the most essential landscape plants throughout the whole cool and temperate region and also in Finland very popular and traditional ornamental. The diversity of the lilacs available for research use and growth in Finland could be broadened by introducing Russian winter hardy cultivars to Finland. Their winter hardiness and survival in the Finnish climate has to be studied in order to proceed to using Russian cultivars in the Finnish climate. Lilacs that grow at the Central Siberian Botanical Garden Siberian Branche of the Russian Academy of Sciences at Novosibirsk were introduced to Finland within the framework of the collaborative project in 2012. Currently, the collection of Syringa vulgaris in CSBG SB RAS has 26 cultivars of 116 tested ones, most resistant to the conditions of Novosibirsk city. In project “Syreenimaja” (2016-2018) small scale plantations with Russian lilac cultivars were made at several locations in Finland and the freezing tolerance of the cultivars was tested. The survival and growth of the lilac plants in these plantings in landscape gardening areas in old gardens is being observed. The lilac plants are still young and have not been flowering broadly. The preliminary results have shown that the Russian lilacs have potential to grow in Finland, but at least cultivar ‘Daphna’ has suffered from winter injuries. Descriptions of 10 tested lilac cultivars from the collection of the CSBG SB RAS are given

PERSPECTIVE OF USING KRASNOSTOPS OF THE ANAPA STATION SELECTION IN THE WINE-MAKING
DescriptionCurrently, more and more popular in the world are indigenous grape varieties. Now in Russia and abroad there is a growing interest in Krasnostops - a high quality indigenous red grape varieties of technical direction. The object of research was the red technical grape variety called Krasnostop Anapa and Krasnostop AZOS, grown in Anapa ampelocalamus and wine from them. As a control, we used two classic grape varieties of varying degrees of saturation in color and extract content of the wines of Cabernet Sauvignon and Saperavi. The article presents the materials of years of research – agrobiological, technological and economic indicators of technical grades of grapes of selection of the Anapa station – Krasnostop Anapa and Krasnostop AZOS. The amount of anthocyanins in wine from Anapa Krasnostops has superior data for these components in the control options. The mass concentration of phenolic substances and their monomer forms in wine materials of grape varieties Krasnostop AZOS and Krasnostop Anapsky is higher than in the quality control of red wines-Cabernet Sauvignon, which indicates a high accumulation of phenolic substances in new grape varieties. In the years of the study of Krasnostop AZOS and Krasnostop Anapsky on organoleptic properties of wine has received good performance - and of 8.78 8.73 points. The brands of wines developed on their basis will fill up a number of high-quality table and liqueur red wines in the Russian market. These grapes have high potential and great prospects in the light of the global trend of their use in winemaking. All this allows to recommend these grades for wide introduction into production in the southern wine-growing regions of Russia

PRIMARY ASSESSMENT OF COMBINATION ABILITY FOR LINES OF CORN CARRYING TWO SIGNS OF GRAIN QUALITY
DescriptionCreation is high - olive hybrids of corn is very relevant in modern conditions as these hybrids give 2-3% of oil more than the hybrids used in production. What the mutation Opeik-2 brings if combined with selection on the high content of oil, having created initial material with two qualitative signs? The similar material received in KNIISH in previous years on the basis of lines and hybrids is presented in this article in the context of productivity and the content of signs of quality of grain

In Reineke Island (Primorskii Krai, Vladivostok, Peter the Great Bay, Sea of Japan) alien species for Russia’s Far East Centaurea jacea L. (Asteraсеае) were first discovered in the 1980th in a small amount. Now, 40 years later distribution of C. jacea is limited to small sites of secondary grass meadows and disturbed habitats of roadsides unpaved roads for approximately 0.03% of the island; the level of its invasive activity is low; C. jacea threats currently is not for the biodiversity of plant community and forage value of meadows

ASSESSMENT OF THE GREENERY CONDITION AND VOLUME-SPATIAL STRUCTURE OF PETROVSKII PARK OF PETROZAVODSK
DescriptionThe article covers the results of the greenery inventory and landscape-planning structure analysis of Petrovskii park of Petrozavodsk. The features of modern park planning and positional application of trees and shrubs in various types of park and garden stands are described. In the park there were found 47 species of arboreal plants, their distribution by quantity and by different categories of viability was presented. The result of the trees and shrubs condition assessment in this park stated that 63,6% of plants are in good condition, 33,2% of arboreal plants are weakened and seriously weakened, and 3,2% are in unsatisfactory condition and appear to be shrinkable and dead standing. The analysis of the park structure and stand condition allows to offer plant renovation activities

ASSESSMENT OF QUALITY OF BAKING WHEAT BREAD WITH ADDITION OF FLOUR OF SORGHUM GRAIN
DescriptionThe article presents organoleptic and physicochemical characteristic of baking wheat bread with 25% addition of flour of sorghum, and also wheat flour

Description
The article shows results of using a mineral fertilizer system on the conditions of the mineral nutrition of winter wheat grown on leached chernozem in 11-field grain-tilled crop rotation conditions of stationary experience. We have also shown the effect of various norms and types of fertilizers on grain yield. Grain increase as a result of using N40 and N40Р30К20 ranged from 0.54-0.50 t / ha, average and elevated rates increased the yield of winter wheat by 0.97 and 1.03 t / ha, which is higher than the control by 17.1 and 18 , 2%

Description
As a result of the researching of anthropogenic influence on the agricultural landscape of Public Corporation "Agrofirma "Niva" from human economic activities with are related to: the pesticides and mineral fertilizers using; the work of agricultural machinery, and the movement of vehicles on the highway. The experimental material on the formation of dust masses and the accumulation of heavy metals in the soil. On the researching territory was found out three times excess of zinc MPC* (23 mg/kg, including background) and four times more of lead MPC (6,0 mg/kg, including background) *maximum permissible concentration

Description
As a result of the study of the influence of different forms, doses and timing of mineral fertilizers on the content of heavy metals in soils of different areas of the agricultural landscape, in the conditions of the relief of the Timashevsky district, there was no excess of MPC values for both gross and mobile forms in the arable and subsurface horizons of ordinary black soil. It is noted that mineral fertilizers do not have a negative impact on the agroecological indicators of ordinary black soil

ASSESSMENT OF WEATHER CHANGES EFFECT ON PEACH CROP IN HUMID SUBTROPICS OF RUSSIA
DescriptionThe close dependence of peach yield on the weather factors in the humid subtropical zone has been established. The observed climate changes in recent years (2000–2018) significantly affected the production potential of peach cultivars. An increase in temperature and precipitation in February-March negatively affected morphogenesis of the flower buds, which reduces the yield of most cultivars. The significant variability of precipitation (the main constraint of peach production) in the winter and early spring, the low weather predictability, characterize the onset of flowering by the “critical” phase. Weather conditions were changed during ripening. In July and August, the amount of precipitation decreased, the temperature increased, which led to moisture deficit and fruits quality deterioration. Local climate change in humid subtropics actualizes the development of adaptive cultivars with a high ecological and adaptive plasticity. Selected clones of the Red Heaven, Krasnaya Zarya and Larisa are the most adapted to the local conditions and can be successfully used in the low mountain area of the subtropics
