AGRICULTURAL MARKET IN PAINTING AS A VISUAL RESOURCE OF INFORMATION ON THE HISTORY OF AGRONOMY
Description
The article deals with agricultural markets through the prism of art. In the work with the help of pictures of artists, like the visual information on the history of agronomy, there were examined questions of introduction of agricultures in Russia, achieving selection works with agricultural plants, as well as we analyzed species diversity of long-bottle lagenaria, bottle gourd and turbanoforms pumpkin crops. Experience in this field has been put into the educational technology as a method of visual sketches or notes. In this approach, students develop cognitive function, since there is the collection of information about the object, in this case of agriculture, its introduction and spread and the changes that it undergoes because of the selection. The electronic database, with 50 works of art from various periods and performed by artists from different countries have been developed. Works of art from ancient times to the present day represent an alternative source of information about the history of agronomy, crop introductions and their spread. Systematic collection of images (iconography) will serve as an invaluable resource for further research in the history of every crop, and elements of technology of cultivation of plants and the preservation of biodiversity

SPIKE PRODUCTIVITY IMPLEMENTATION IN COLLECTION SAMPLES OF WINTER SOFT WHEAT

Description
The work is devoted to studying the productivity of an ear of winter soft wheat samples from the collection of the All-Russian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources named after N.I. Vavilov (VIR). The study attempted to conduct a pre-selection study of collection material on the elements of spike productivity. The concept of pre-selection research is based on the study of initial collection material according to given characteristics in order to identify the best genotypes for further use in breeding practice. In the analysis of the collection material, the following characteristics were used as indicators of spike productivity: length of the main spike (cm), number of spikelets in the main spike (pcs), number of grains in the main spike (pcs), grain weight from the main spike (g), 1000-kernel weight (g). Plant height was one of the basic indicators of the studied material, because a number of samples differed in alleles of short-stem genes. According to the results of two years of research, according to the indicator «1000-kernel weight», the varietal sample Cologna lunga razza 188 (Italy) was identified as 71,20 g. According to the indicator «number of grains in an ear», the varietal sample Fenotipo 1 (Italy) was 57,3 g. Also according to the totality of indicators, the varietal sample Kaloyan (Bulgaria) with an average of two years of research with a 1000-kernel weight – 51,77 g, the number of grains in an ear – 51,6 pcs. and a mass of grains per ear – 2,71 g.

IMPLEMENTATION OF POTENTIAL PRODUCTIVITY OF THE OLD VARIETIES OF WINTER WHEAT

Description
In the article, we discuss issues of morphological and physiological control over plants of winter wheat. As the object of the research, we have selected landraces - the population of winter wheat, which was grown on the territory of the Kuban region in the last century. The aim of this work was determination of the effect on the reproductive system of winter wheat varieties of factors such as conditions of cultivation and processing "Cecece 750" 1.5 l/ha D. V. crop retardant. To achieve this goal we have conducted a morphological analysis of the growth cone at the VI stage of organogenesis, which provide quantitative evaluation of potential future seed production of spike of winter wheat. To study the effect of the year of breeding on the reproductive system of winter wheat varieties the analysis of variance was calculated according to the scheme 3×7 factorial variability characteristic due to the influence of genotype (factor B), cultivation year (factor A), that is repeated in time is interpreted as the effect of the year conditions of cultivation. The influence of retardant on the reproductive system of winter wheat varieties was conducted using the analysis of variance on the above described scheme, 2×7, where the factor "A" is presented in two gradations (options, retardant treated and not treated), in this case, repeated for years was excluded as a factor. The result of researches indicates that the rate of realized productivity is variety-specific and can serve as a measure of the flexibility of the studied cultivars to different environmental conditions. The analysis of variance showed significant retardant effect on the realization of potential productivity in all variants of the crops of soft winter wheat. The comparison of the average general population indicates that the genetic potential of tall varieties may not manifest even in favorable for crop cultivation. The artificial reduction of plant height by inhibiting the growth of retardant is an effective way to identify high productivity of these genotypes as varieties of winter and Nemenchinskaya Old No. 346

USING EXAMPLES OF PAINTINGS IN TEACHING CYTOLOGY AS A DISCIPLINE
Description
In our study we try to convey to students the importance of Cytology, as a discipline, with examples of paintings by various famous artists. Visualization of images is an integral part of the science of the cell. Our work focuses on such critical cytological processes such as the preparation of dyes for staining of chromosomes, polyploidy, mitosis and apoptosis. We used a series of works of the artist, D. Eltsevoy, in this regard, an important approach is to convey to students the idea about the optimality of the size of the organism at polyploidy. As the demonstration material on mitosis performs a series of pictures Julia Nudel. The paintings of this artist show the processes of cell division (mitosis) and death (apoptosis). The use of paintings as illustrations in the course Cytology" promotes the development of imagination, causes cognitive interest of students in the discipline. The objective of our work was to conduct a search of the visual images on the example of artists ' canvas, to create an image database with explanations and interpretations. Thus, the use of paintings in the course "Cytology" as a figurative number, affects several processes: abstraction, classification, identification and creation of new, in-depth understanding of the processes occurring in the cell. A POSTCARD AS A RESOURCE OF INFORMATION ON THE HISTORY OF AGRONOMY

he article discusses postcards with images related to agro-botanic illustration, the possibility of their use as an information resource in the process of the study course on the history of agriculture. We have given the extensive understanding of agro-botanic illustrations, reviewed the goals and objectives of this type of image. History of agriculture in postcards considered on three types of images: art (reproduction and original) and documentary (photo). For each type of images we have illustrative examples with brief comments. The review is presented with a combined collection covering different countries of the world. The article contains examples of postcards with brief comments. It presents an overview of the collection of postcards from different countries, and an analysis of the examples from the series named "Giant vegetables at the farm" and "Apple family". Thus, the images presented on postcards allow us to obtain the following information: the orientation of the agricultural sector areas (main activities: crop production, livestock, horticulture, viticulture, vegetable growing, etc.); Botanical characteristics of crops (agro-botanic illustration; illustration of certain types of technologies of cultivation of crops (cleaning, plant care, plowing, irrigation); documentary image separate record harvests; historical and cultural traditions associated with the agricultural sector, or in separate areas; the promotion of new crops, varieties, and hybrids of agricultural plants and flower crops; information about crops grown in the region, state, specific areas; paintings covering the agricultural labor of a particular country; promotion of local flora; develops observation; teaches us to think and analyze the information

A POSTAGE STAMP AS A RESOURCE OF INFORMATION IN THE HISTORY OF AGRONOMY
Description
The article considers illustrative images of plants on the postage stamps as a resource of information of agronomy history. We have shown the technology of education process. The first is the creation of the images base; the second are analysis, comparison, interpretation and search of new information. The method of sketches as the basis of the iconography of plants images was presented in this work. Analysis of the images allowed identifying several thematic blocks. Agriculture, growing in the country, the history of the plants spread, the technology of processing, product export and promotion of agronomic knowledge through agricultural exhibitions. Object of the analysis is a postage stamp. Stamps reflect the whole life of people, their history and modernity, environment, agriculture, science, culture and art. A stamp is a kind of "business card", it is a witness of the era. The main idea of the base images is receiving new knowledge about an object by collecting images, visual analysis, searching for information and studying material; in fact, it is a new approach to obtaining new knowledge, motivated and exciting approach to receive scientific information. Created database of images on the history of agronomy on the basis of stamps allows to use them actively in the learning process, and may be used as the individual topics for researches
