06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThis article presents the studying results of new premixes of domestic production using efficiency based on processed products, in particular - oil cakes. The research was carried out in the conditions of the second-order pedigree reproductor in LLC "Svetly" in the Svetloyarsky district of the Volgograd region in the period from 2015 to 2017. During the scientific and economic experience, the authors revealed the new fodder additives positive influence on the laying hens’ egg productivity, on the eggs morphological and incubation rates and on the got young birds. The use of premixes in layer diet, which included the fodder concentrate from the plant raw material "Sarepta" and Camelina seed oil cake, contributed to the increase in the hens laying capacity, in general, the group received in 249 and 310 pieces more than in the control one. The egg average weight from the chickens of the control group was 60.89 g; from the first experimental it was 61.33 g; from the second experimental it was 61.39 g, which was higher than in the control one, respectively, by 0.44 g and 0.50 g. While the hatching eggs morphological indices analysis, it was revealed that all parameters are within the permissible limits of the physiological norm. Fertilization of eggs in the control group was at the level of 89.33%, which is lower than in the experimental groups. As a whole, the eggs' production in groups was 20.00% in the control, 17.33% in the 1st group, and 16.00% in the 2nd test group

CHICK PEAS EFFICIENCY IN HENS FEEDING
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThis article presents the results of the chick peas use instead of sunflower cake, in feeding young and adult livestock hens-layers of the cross "Hajseks brown". The researches were carried out in the JSC "Agrofirm Vostok" of the Nikolayevskiy district in the Volgograd region. The sunflower cake replacement with legumes - chickpeas as the part of the experimental animal fodder for young and adult livestock hens-layers had a positive influence on productivity, physiological state of the birds, product quality and economic performance. Chick peas’ use in young hens feeding improves live weight at 1.03-4.68%, egg production in 0.99-4.7%, the average weight in 0.99-3.75% and eggs quality indicators. Morphological and biochemical indices in experimental young hens and laying hens in all the groups were within the physiological range, indicating normally occurring redox processes in the body of a bird. However, the chick peas’ application in fodder for experimental young hens and laying hens contributed to the increase of total protein, calcium, phosphorus content in serum compared with counterparts in the control group that received sunflower cake. As the researches result, the economic effect in the experimental groups was 833.01-3821.87 rubles

DescriptionThis article presents the results of the use of feed concentrate from vegetable raw materials called "Sarepta" in the amount of 5, 7.5% and 10% by weight of the feed, instead of sunflower meal in the feeding of Russian sturgeons. Studies have been conducted among 3 year old Russian sturgeons in the conditions of PRIBOY company in the Bykovsky district of the Volgograd region. The experiment lasted 24 weeks. Replacing sunflower meal with a product of processing of oilseeds - feed concentrate Sarepta, made from vegetable raw materials, in the composition of feed for sturgeons had a positive effect on live weight, absolute, average daily and relative gains and costs of feed. The use of "Sarepta" feed concentrate, made from vegetable raw materials in the feeding of Russian sturgeon contributes to the increase of live weight of 3.1-6.0 per cent, an absolute increase of live weight by 5.07-9.82 percent, and average daily and relative body weight increase. It was also found, that we had a decrease in feed consumption during the period of experience in the experimental groups. Morphological and biochemical parameters in experimental fish in all groups were within the physiological norm, which indicates a normally occurring redox processes in the body

DescriptionThis article presents the results of using "Gorlinka" mustard protein-containing feed concentrate, instead of sunflower meal in the feeding of broiler chickens of the cross of "Cobb-500". The studies were conducted in the conditions of Krasnodonskaya Poultry farm of the Ilovlinskiy district of the Volgograd region. Replacing sunflower meal with a product of processing of oilseeds which is "Gorlinka" mustard protein-containing concentrate, in the feed mixture in the experimental broilers had a positive impact on the productivity, physiological state of the birds, product quality and economic performance. The use of this mustard protein-containing feed concentrate in feeding of meat birds contributes to the increase of live weight by 3.46-of 6.65% and slaughter yield by 1.38-1.98% and improvement of quality indicators of the carcasses. Morphological and biochemical parameters in experimental broiler chickens in all the groups were within the physiological norm, which indicates a normally occurring redox processes in the poultry organism. However, adding "Gorlinka" mustard proteincontaining feed concentrate into experimental feed for broiler chickens contributed to the increase in the content of total protein, calcium, phosphorus in blood serum in comparison with analogues from the control group that received sunflower cake. As a result of the research, the economic effect in the experimental groups was up 710,40-1085,53 rubles

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF OILSEEDS PROCESSED PRODUCTS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionSide products obtained during processing of many oil crops, have a high feed value and use in rations of animals and birds. The important thing in feeding poultry is protein nutritional value of forages and their biological integrity, expressed in amino acid composition. In this regard, there was a comparative analysis of the chemical and amino acid composition traditionally used in compound feeds for poultry, sunflower cake, and previously unexamined mustard protein-containing feed concentrate called "Gorlinka". During the research, it was found that the studied new feed additive is better comparing to sunflower meal, considering protein content and essential amino acids

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF OILSEEDS PROCESSED PRODUCTS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionCurrently, we are constantly improving the recipes of fish feeds, this reduces the cost of feed per gain, and it overall decreases cost of fish. We search for alternative cheaper sources of nutrients. Leftovers of vegetable oil and oil extraction industry such as oil cakes and meals have been used as high-protein feed additives for a long time. This requires a strict scientific control, precluding the possibility of their harmful effects on animal health. In this regard, there was a comparative analysis of the chemical and amino acid composition traditionally used in compound feeds for sturgeons of sunflower cake and feed concentrate from "Sarepta" vegetable raw materials. During the research it was found that "Sarepta" is better than sunflower meal considering protein and essential amino acids content

FODDER AMINOACID COMPOSITION COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe right balance of essential amino acids and protein is the main condition for the optimization of weight gain, feed conversion and high profits. In VGC "Megamix" the quality of different types of raw full-fat soy, wheat, corn, meat and bone meal and fish was assessed on the content of amino acids on the IR analyzer of FOSSNIR Systems company. Amino acid content in the feed does not always match the average standards of reference. So in the reference data content of methionine, threonine and phenylalanine in wheat, indicated 0.23%, 0.43% and 0.64% respectively, and studied in the laboratory of VGC "Megamix", respectively, 0.24%, 0.45% and 0 73%, that is 0.01%, 0.02% and 0.09% higher of tabular values. The lysine content of the wheat to be investigated in a laboratory and provided in the averaged data was on the same level. Thus, the calculation of the recipes should be carried out taking into account not tabulated values but the actual, which will reduce the so-called "safety stock" to get food of consistent quality and reduce the cost of the cost of animal feed, which in turn affects the economic efficiency of livestock production
