DescriptionFor the research period (2003-2016), 57 pest species and 46 pathogens were recorded on stone and pomaceous fruits in humid Russian subtropics, among which the representatives of the order Lepidoptera and the division Ascomycota predominate. The greatest number of the species was recorded on the apple tree - 35 pests and 25 pathogens, the smallest - on cherry and sweet cherry trees (13 and 10, respectively). 43,7 per cent of the species are polyphages, while the relative abundance of monophages among fungi is higher than among arthropods. The species with activity in the summer are prevalent. A group of species that are harmful in humid subtropical environments all year round (11 species of phytophages and 19 pathogens) was identified. Analyzing the changes in the species composition of the complex through the time, we can speak about the relative stability of the dominant species. The group of the typical dominant species of pests for almost a century has included Grapholita molesta Busck., G. funebrana Tr., Cydia pomonella L., Taphrina deformans (Berk.) Tul., Stigmina carpophila (Lév.) M.B. Ellis, Monilinia laxa (Aderh. et Ruhland) Honey, M. fructigena Honey, Podosphaera leucotricha (Ellis & Everh.) E.S. Salmon, Venturia carpophila E.E. Fisher and pear V. pyrina Aderh. Eriosoma lanigerum Hausm., Scolytus mali Bechst. and Tranzschelia prunispinosae (Pers.) Dietel are currently dropped out from the group of the dominants; Halyomorpha halys Stål, which is a new pest for Russia, was added. Groups of the species with sharp fluctuations in abundance or frequently encountered were distinguished

DescriptionDuration of vegetation period is one of the main adaptive traits for any crop or variety. Reasonability of cultivation of a variety in a particular soil and climate zone is determined by the duration of the vegetative period. One of the aims of breeding is the creation of the varieties with the main vegetative phases lasting at more favorable climatic conditions. The most accurate way to determine maturity group of a variety is by estimation of starting of heading phase, which can be defined with the greatest precision. The article covers the analysis of the duration of the vegetative period of the lines and varieties of winter barley of local and foreign selection in the central zone of Krasnodar region. All the varieties were divided into three maturity groups. The vegetative periods of the varieties were studied during four years. The most favorable and adverse conditions for yield formation were determined. The interactions between the productivity of the varieties depending on maturity group were identified. The varieties of the early maturity group which are more productive than the check were selected, which is most valuable for the breeding of the crop. The best varieties with the high and stable yield and the positive traits are regularly involved in the breeding programs with the porpoise of making new varieties of the winter barley

DescriptionThe use of physical factors for preplant stimulation of seeds increases vigor, germination and improves the yield of agricultural products. One of the effective ways to improve seed grain quality is to impact on the seeds using physical factors, in particular, an alternating electromagnetic field of industrial frequency of 50 Hz (EMF of IF of 50 Hz). We studied the impact of EMF of IF of 50 Hz on the energy germination of mid-ripening spring barley seeds of promising varieties Vakula, Vikont, Ratnik. Carrying out the experimental studies we used a laboratory setup with annular pole points of rectangular cross section. Our disperse analysis resulted in data on germinative energy of seeds of spring barley varieties Vakula, Vikont, Ratnik, which showed that while treating seeds of spring barley by an alternating electromagnetic field of industrial frequency of 50Hz, we obtained the best values of germinative energy of seeds of Variety Vikont with a mode of processing being equal to W = 16%, T = 2 c, L = 0,03 m

AMPELOGRAPHIC AND BREEDING RESEARCHES OF KUBAN STATE AGRARIAN UNIVERSITY
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe report, presented by 18-20.09.2012 in Gaylvaylerhofe / Germany at the European meeting of Ampelography ECPGR in international cooperation of the COST project, provides the information about the collection, the study and the storage of wild grape vines, as well as indigenous and selected varieties in the National ampelographic collections of Russia, nowadays containing 3,220 specimens of 42 countries, 191 of which were oppressed with phylloxera. The modern zoned assortment of grapes in Russia (according to the State register of breeding achievements of the Russian Federation) with the most common areas of local and introduced varieties is examined. The summary of the impact of the clonal selection of the classic industrial engineering classes, conducted by the author’s original technique, as well as the achievements of combinative breeding of the actively breed resistant varieties is given. Moreover, their reproduction at the level of selected protoclones or elite breeding forms (candidate variety) was conducted with in vitro method

DescriptionFor perfection and enrich on structure of grape on Nakhchivani Autonomous Republic since 1985 has been running researches of agrobiological and technical delineation of new aboriginal, inductions and selection sorts of Vitis vinifera L. In this article the ampelo-descriptoric delineation of two selection technical sorts of grape: Alinja and Uzunsalkhimli is observed. These sorts belong to ecological-geographical group in eastern wine sorts- proles orientalis subpr. caspica Neqr by morphological indication and biological peculiarity. By genetic indication, the sorts of Alinja and Uzunsalkhimli are characterized with very long ( up to 40-50 cm) and big bunch (700-1500gr). Productivity from bush is 10,0 l- 8,0 kg, sugar is 20,2 or 22.0%, sour is 5,4 and 5,7 y/dm3. Selection sort of Alinja is made for preparing high quality red wine of various categories
