EFFICIENCY OF IRRIGATION REGIMES FOR GRAIN SORGHUM ON CHERNOZEMS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
The article results the study of irrigation regime im-pact on water consumption and yield of grain sor-ghum. It is established that optimal conditions for growth and development are created by maintaining soil moisture content in a soil layer of 0.6 m higher than 80 % of field capacity (FC), where the grain yield reaches 14 t/ha and the best indices of profit and cost-effectiveness are obtained

SEEDS AS A SOURCE OF SUNFLOWER PHOMOPSIS SPREAD
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
The ability of Phomopsis to transmit from affected seeds to plants has been studied in both anamorphic and teleomorphic phases of its development in the year of sowing. The sunflower lesion with Phomopsis affects not only the germination, but also causes the plant disease

HUMUS CONTENT CALCULATION THE METHOD WITH USE OF REMOTE SENSING OF THE EARTH
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
In the article, we have made an attempt to develop and calculate a model of humus content estimation in the black leached soil according to remote sensing of the ground. We have presented the model which has a number of restrictions for its continuous use when carrying out soil environmental monitoring of land grounds. It is established, that for calculation of similar model it is necessary to perform the cameral works including selection and the preliminary analysis of fields, including using of contemporary records of Remote sensing of the ground for definition of sampling points, to carry out an assessment of space photo shooting and sampling of soils in optimum terms with the maximum synchronism (cameral work and soil and agrochemical inspection), to make the analysis of the selected samples of soils for humus content with traditional methods, and finally to calculate regression models with use of data of the carried-out space shooting and the agrochemical analysis of soil samples

EVALUATION OF TURF QUALITY FOR COOL SEASON SPECIES AND CULTIVARS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
Series of field and laboratory studies were conducted from 2011 to 2012 in Russian State Agrarian University to evaluate a collection of 4 turf grass species and 15 cultivars for quality, summer density, ground cover and germination percentage. During 2 experimental seasons the plants have been growing with the extensive treatments. Turf quality was evaluated visually using a 1 to 9 scale. The two-way analysis of variance was used to identify genotype’s effects on density, ground cover and germination percentage

NEUTRALIZATION OF HERBICIDE NEGATIVE IMPACT ON SUGAR BEET WITH BIOSTIMULATORS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
Most modern chemicals designed to protect crop also actually cause negative effects on the protected plants mostly due to side effects and/or not following the application procedures correctly. It is possible to neutralize the negative effects of herbicides they have on cultivated plants with precise use of immunostimulants which will increase the plants' natural immunity against the negative effects of biotic and abiotic environmental factors

USE OF NONTRADITIONAL FERTILIZERS IN CULTIVATION OF PLANTED SCOTCH PINES ON THE RECULTIVATED GROUNDS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
Description
The results of use of nontraditional organic fertilizers on the basis of wastewater sludges and sawdust in sand pits earth stabilization are considered. It was ascertained that a dose of introduced fertilizers has higher influence on hydrophysical and agrochemical properties of soils than shelf life of the fertilizers. A tendency of enhancing growth of intended purpose planted pines on the back of improvement of physical and chemical and biological properties of sandy soils, enrichment of species composition with grassland vegetation after nontraditional organic fertilizers treatment is revealed
