DescriptionWe have studied the influence of dietary probiotics and metal salts, iron and copper, as detoxifiers for the negative factors which adversely affect the sanitary condition of feeds for farm animals. The optimal doses of detoxifiers in the food infected with mold due to storage conditions were found. The positive effect was, on average, 8%

PREVENTION OF VIOLATIONS OF METABOLISM IN FRESH COWS
06.02.00 Veterinary and Husbandry
DescriptionThe main diseases of lactating cows occur in the first two months of lactation, i.e. during the production peak of productivity. They are caused by the changes in metabolism during the transition period, which are not supported by adequate changes in the organization of feeding, or rather sufficient to ensure cows with nutrients, which causes a number of closely related diseases. To allocate any of them is not possible, as their manifestation depends on a number of reasons, and depending on situation may prevail one or the other. Among the most common diseases, there are ketosis, milk fever (paresis of maternity), dysplasia of the abomasum, acidosis, mastitis, endometritis, laminitis and leukemia. These diseases cause the greatest problems in herds with high productivity, and are caused by changes in metabolism in cows in the transition period and the inability to properly feed the animals at this time. To identify the causes of these diseases we do not need to study each of them individually - it is enough to deal with the peculiarities of metabolism. This period includes the month before calving and the first or second month of lactation, but the most important are 3 weeks before calving and 3 weeks later. In order to prevent metabolic disorders there were developed and tested feed for feeding cows before calving and immediately after calving. Their effect was studied on milk production and health status

WAYS OF REDUCTION OF ADVERSE FEEDING EFFECT ON ANIMALS
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe successful development of livestock requires maintaining and further increasing of the genetic potential, the basis for the manifestation of which is the adequite balanced feeding. Currently, one of the most urgent problems of livestock breeding is to find ways for reduction of the negative impact of various feeding factors on the animals. In industrial conditions, it is difficult to exclude various feed stresses, which lead to a decrease in productivity, survival rate and ill health of animals and poultry. The work summarizes the research in this direction, taking into account the achievements of domestic and foreign authors. A serious problem of feed producing companies and livestock farms is the grain and compound feed affection with fungi and their metabolic products - mycotoxins. Based on the results of the research of several authors, the ways of solving this problem were identified and recommendations on the reduction of the negative effect on the body were provided. It is noted, that one of the best and effective ways to reduce the negative effect of mycotoxins on the body is a method of administration of adsorbents in animal feed. But it should be taken into consideration that in order to maximize the protection against mycotoxins and minimize their harmful effects on the body of animals it is necessary to use preparations, which include adsorbents of organic and inorganic nature, as well as to comply with the dosage of their introduction into the diets of animals and poultry. The progressive forms of preparations of a new generation, solving problems of the negative impact of feeding factors, include probiotics, which contain some bacteria, immobilized on the solid particles, so that they inhabit the intestine faster. Modern biological complexes have immune correcting properties, increase non-specific resistance of the organism, normalize microbiocenosis of gastrointestinal tract, and stimulate the functional activity of the digestive system. Therefore, it is necessary to use feed additives with detoxification properties as part of animal compound feed, according to recommendations on their application in appropriate dosages

RESOURCE-SAVING APPROACHES TO THE POULTRY FEEDING
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe experiment studied the use of an herbal component in feeding of young geese, consisting of hay meal and alfalfa juices coagulate. The replacement of 50 % of complete feed by the studied feeding stuff reduced the protein content in the diet by 9.9-14.9 % and increased the content of crude fiber 1.76-2.01 times. Gross weight gain in the experimental group decreased by 3.9 %, with an increase in feed cost by 17.1 %. However, carcasses of geese in experimental group increased absolute weight of muscles of the breast and legs by 28.6%, and the relative – 5.6 % (Р˃0.05). Using of herbal ingredients tended to increase the yield of dressed carcass by 4.8 %, while the share of internal fat and skin with subcutaneous fat was decreased. There were no differences in the chemical composition of poultry muscle tissue in the groups. Using of herbal ingredients decreased the cost of 1 kg of feed by 0.7 rubles, but the cost price of weight gain increased by 5.0 %. It was concluded that it is necessary to carry out additional studies involving the feeding of poultry with the identical by nutritional value compound feed with the additive under study or without it

METHOD OF INCREASING THE PRODUCTIVITY OF BROILER CHICKENS THROUGH THE USE OF FUNCTIONAL ADDITIVE
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionIn the experimental work, we studied the effect of the inulin prebiotic on the growth, development and efficiency of growing broiler chickens of the Isa cross. In accordance with the scheme of the experiment, the first control group was fed a complete feed (CF) by periods of growth. In the second group, inulin was added to the CF for the first 21 days of growth. In the third group prebiotic was added to the CF at the same rate throughout the whole period of rearing the chicks (42 days). In the second and third groups, we found the tendency to increase the intensity of growth rate in poultry by 1.6 and 3.0%, respectively, compared with the control. Feed costs for weight gain were decreased by 2.1-2.7%. In the chime of the blind processes of the intestine of the chickens of 2-3 experimental groups it was found the reduction of staphylococci and enterococci CFU, while similar to the control group lactobacilli CFU. The muscle tissue in the chickens of experimental groups had greater protein content. The optimal range of indicators is the use of inulin for the first 21 days of rearing poultry. Because of the production audit, an increase in live weight of chickens was found, in the experimental group by 2.7% (p ≤ 0.05), a decrease of feed costs by 7.5%, increase of the survival rate of poultry by 2.0% and profitability by 3.1%

DescriptionThe article presents materials on comparative study of the nutritional value of chickpeas and peas which are widespread in the arid zone of the Southern Urals. The scheme of the scientific and economic experiments involved the assessment of yield formation of chickpeas and peas during the vegetation. The study showed that different varieties of chickpea and pea have considerable difference in the content of nutrients. The amount of crude protein in the pea grain ranged from 25.1 to 26.8%, and chickpea – 21.7 - 22.9%. With regard to the fat, its highest concentration was in chickpea grain - 3.63%, on average, which is 1.16% higher than on average in the pea grain. The chemical composition of the pea and chickpea grain of different varieties points to differences in their composition and homogeneity within the culture. Basing on the study, we recommend to sow chickpea and pea grain in the middle of May to obtain the highest yield, this, in turn, has a positive effect on the nutritional value of the crops. When selecting plants for cultivation in the conditions of the Southern Urals, it is preferable to choose the variety of Madonna pea, which has a higher potential for yield than the chickpea variety Krasnokutsky-123. It has been experimentally found that chickpea grain has better moisture-retaining power in a bound condition during the vegetation period as compared to the relevant characteristics of pea grain, which is a positive drought-resistant value of crop. In structural elements of the harvest the peas showed the trend of the highest rates in comparison with the corresponding elements in chickpeas
