SAFE OPERATION OF INDUSTRIAL THERMAL AGGREGATES
DescriptionThe article is devoted to ensuring safe operation of industrial thermal aggregates of low power. The problem of ensuring trouble-free operation of power stations on the channel of control of a flame is considered. The main attention is paid to the requirement of speed of control of a flame. The reasonable method of calculation of the lower temporary parameter of operation of system of automatic protection on the researched channel is for this purpose given. At the same time, parameters of fuel-air mix of gases in furnace amount, design features of the furnace aggregate, thermal losses which accompany explosion in a fire chamber of the power station are considered

Description
One of the key areas of interdisciplinary research is to ensure public safety. In order to solve a number of problems within this area we can effectively use information technology and, in particular, an automated pattern recognition technology and identification of objects on digital images. There are addition problems in objects identifying process besides eliminating the influence of ambient light, angle, items of clothing and headgear. To ensure the applicability of the recognition approach to public security issues it must meet requirements of the high processing speed, the replenishment capabilities onthe-fly list of known images, and the low computational complexity of algorithms. The article deals with the main approaches to the recognition and identification of objects on digital images based on statistical approaches, as well as neural network models. We have allocate their basic features and principles, provided a brief description of each method. Consideration has been made in terms of the application for the problems of public safety, in which there is importance of the speed of the identification of the object, the ability of quickly learning for the system to accept new images and simultaneously process a plurality of input images. The analysis of the existing approaches has shown that none of them satisfy at least one or several needs, which are defined by domain problems of public safety

TO THE NONPARAMETRIC IDENTIFICATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS OF SEQUENCE OBJECTS
DescriptionThe task of nonparametric identification of sequence objects with discrete-continuous nature of the process under nonparametric uncertainty, i.e. in conditions where a priori information is not sufficient for an informed choice of a model structure up to parameters is considered. Among series-connected objects, there can be objects both dynamic and instantaneous ones with a lag. This kind of technological chains is common in various industries, particularly in metal, power, oil refining, etc. in solving this problem were used methods of nonparametric identification theory, mathematical statistics and statistical modeling. The theory of nonparametric systems is based on local approximation methods, in particular algorithms for nonparametric estimation of different kind of dependency from observation of input-output variables of the object. The article presents a nonparametric model for the group of spinning objects with delay. In the work we show in detail the results of numerical studies showing that the use of nonparametric algorithms allows predicting process performance with sufficient accuracy

THE NEED FOR THE USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES
DescriptionThe article reveals main reasons for developing tendencies to the using of new types of energy, which are limited supply of traditional fuels and environmental problems associated with its processing. It is shown that new forms of energy plays an important role in the energy supply of many countries of the world, and in the future they can become the main sources of energy to meet the growing needs of the global economy. We reveal main reasons of the increasing interest in renewable energy, and we show the obvious prospects of their use, due to two factors. First, according to experts, the global reserves of traditional fuels are limited, and secondly, this was evidenced by the investments of leading countries in this promising industry. The article lists reasons for the need for the use of renewable energy sources in Russia. Increased consumption of natural resources has become a real threat to the security of the life of human society. The basis of solving modern social and environmental problems is a transition to a regulated process of safe use of natural energy potential to meet the vital needs of people not only in the coming decades, but in the long run. It is concluded, that the determining condition for the development of the human civilization at present and in the future would be the level of natural resources which ensures the needs of the population without making harm to the environment
