Description
The aim of the article is theoretical and experi¬mental confirmation of the possibility to improve the acceleration performance of tractor units by in¬stalling a tow hitch with variable stiffness. Application of speed tractors in agricultural pro¬duction meets a number of difficulties associated with the unsteady processes, especially while accel¬erating of machine and tractor units. The resulting large inertial loads during acceleration lead to loss of engine power, due to which the machine and tractor unit operates with less performance and economy. Our analysis of published studies shows that the acceleration performance of tractor units is greatly influenced by the rigidity of external links in the form of coupling devices installed between the trac¬tor and the agricultural machine. The design of the tow hitch with variable nonlinear stiffness for class 1.4 tractors is offered. The results of theoretical and experimental studies on the effect of the proposed tow hitch with variable nonlinear stiffness on the acceleration capabilities of machine and tractor units based on class 1.4 tractor are shown. Based on the analysis of characteristics obtained by the analytical and experimental ways, it was proved that the use of the hitch with a variable non-linear stiffness on class 1.4 tractor helps to improve the acceleration performance of the machine and tractor unit

ANALYSIS OF FUNCTIONING OF RAILROAD WAREHOUSE OF MINERAL FERTILIZERS
DescriptionThe railroad warehouse has most important role in the delivery process of fertilizers to agricultural consumers. It acts as logistics intermediaries. The analysis of material flows has been done on the example of a typical provider of mineral fertilizers in the South of the Rostov region (CJSC «Zernogradagrohimservis») for the last 6 years. Income values and implementation values are varied during the year synchronously for all fertilizers types with the exception of a few months at the beginning and the end of the year. During most of the year the enterprise operates as a negotiable warehouse. In January-February and October-December ammonium nitrate accumulates as a seasonal inventory for the spring peak of implementation, in the rest of the year its reserves are insurance. Stocks of other fertilizers types are insurance stocks for most of the year, in May-July occurs a slight accumulation of their seasonal stocks. A significant portion of mineral fertilizers (especially ammonium nitrate) is delivered for small enterprises and individual farms by cars of this provider. According to the supply contracts, a one-car-run is performed for the vast majority of customers. Routes of delivery of fertilizers are either radial or pendulum (with reverse idle mileage). Therefore, the optimization of the delivery of fertilizers does not seem possible by methods such as obtaining the shortest route network, consolidation of suppliers for consumers, etc.

Description
In the context of implementing programs on reducing budget expenditures for the social sphere utilities, it is urgent to intrude renewable energy sources into the practice of their energy supply. However, despite all their diversity, not all constructions based on renewable energy sources can be used under conditions of urban development. Besides, the mutable nature of the solar radiation coming on the Earth's surface requires specific forecasts and calculations of its intensity. Accurate estimation of the area solar energy potential of the generating plant proposed location allows not only to justify its parameters at the design stage, but also to predict its operating mode and to evaluate its technical and economic efficiency. The purpose of the article is to estimate the level of solar radiation for Volzhsky, Volgograd Region, at the initial stage of designing and justifying the implementation of power plants transforming renewable solar energy in urban areas. In the article, it is proposed to apply method for estimating the solar energy potential of at a specific geographic point, based on a combination of the calculation method for determining the solar radiation characteristics and actinometric measurements. Volzhsky of the Volgograd Region, like most settlements in the Lower Volga region, has a high solar energy potential: 1228.8 kWh / m² for the horizontal surface of the southern orientation of the receiving surface of power plants, which can be increased by 16.2% at its optimal orientation relative to the horizon and the sides of the world. However, the expansion of the utilization of the solar energy potential of the district may be limited to the location of the existing buildings and structures at which power plants may be located in urban development conditions

Description
The aim of the work is theoretical and experimental confirmation of the possibility of improving the rate of acceleration of tractor units due to installing of elastic-damping mechanism with variable stiffness in tractor transmission. Speed tractors application in agricultural production meets a number of difficulties associated with the unsteady processes during acceleration of machine and tractor units. The resulting large inertial loads when accelerating result in loss of engine power, due to which the machinetractor unit is operating at reduced performance and efficiency. An analysis of published studies shows that the acceleration performance of tractor units is greatly influenced by the stiffness and damping properties of the transmission of energy resources. To provide smooth acceleration of the unit it is proposed to install elastic-damping mechanism with variable stiffness in tractor transmission. As a result, the tension of the acceleration process decreases. The results of analytical and experimental studies on the effect of elastic-damping mechanism installed in the class 5 tractor transmission, on acceleration capabilities of tractor units are given. The optimum parameters of elements of elastic-damping mechanism with variable stiffness for class 5 tractors are determined. It is proved that the use of elastic-damping mechanism with a variable stiffness in the tractor transmission improves acceleration indicators

MODERN METHODS AND FACILITIES OF DECLINE OF TOXIC LEVEL OF WORKING GASES OF DIESEL ENGINES
DescriptionThe problem of environmental protection from toxic contamination, i.e. toxic products contained in exhaust gases, is one of the most pressing in the modern world. Currently, internal combustion engines and vehicles of transport and technological machines rank first in power supply in the global energy balance. The total amount of pollutants released into the atmosphere by tank-automotive equipment exceeds more than three times the emissions released by industrial companies. Besides the vast majority of tracked and wheeled vehicles are equipped with diesel engines, which excel gasoline engines in harmful substances released together with exhaust gases. Therefore the problem of emission control becomes more and more urgent. The aim of this study is the analysis of modern means and methods of reducing the toxicity of exhaust gases released by diesel engines. The existing methods of emission control can be divided into four groups: improving the design of the internal combustion engine; the accounting of operational factors affecting the toxicity of exhaust gases; the use of unconventional fuels; the exhaust gases cleaning in the exhaust pipe. Each method has several major ways to reduce the emission of toxic substances, which are often mutually complementary. We have cited the research date of influencing each of the methods on the emissions of toxic substances in exhaust gases. We have found that reducing the emission of toxic substances in compliance with Euro-6 requirements can only be obtained by the simultaneous use of several methods of reducing emissions. We have proved the effectiveness and economic feasibility of using combined neutralizers to clean exhaust gases

MODERN STATE AND TENDENCIES OF DEVELOPMENT OF MEAT CATTLE BREEDING OF RUSSIA
DescriptionThe article reflects modern condition of production of meat of cattle in Russia. We have analyzed the population dynamics of the cattle population and beef production and thee main problems that accompany the functioning of the beef cattle industry. We have given the measures of state support of the industry, to solve problems for which the Ministry of agriculture has developed a program to support the development of beef cattle. Considering prospects and possible risks of development of domestic the beef cattle industry, we have specified a need of such development of the branch; it has to be based, first of all, on implementation of large-scale projects on the basis of the competitive meat breeds of world level. On the basis of the findings we have identified the forecasts for the domestic producers, based on the current market dynamics. Solving the problem of providing the population with beef is possible at the expense of specialized meat cattle breeding. In order to improve economic efficiency of meat production of cattle we must not only find internal reserves and improve industrial relations economic relations, but the establishment of integration structures in the form of unions of agricultural enterprises, processing enterprises and marketing organizations, as well as large-scale economic and legislative support from the state

THE GROWTH AND PRODUCTION ABILITY OF SHOOTS AT DIFFERENT VARIANTS OF CUTTING FRUITBEARING VINES
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe article presents the results of studying the impact of different options for cutting fruit vines on the growth and productivity of shoots of the grapes. The obtained experimental data indicate the excessive overload of vines with eyes and shoots when performing contour trimming bushes without normalizing the choice of shoots, in comparison with other variants of experience. A significant increase of eyes on the vines when performing contour cutting was because during this method of cutting, the cutoff is at a certain level all the shoots are horizontal on the arm vines. A big load of vines shoots when performing contour cutting has reduced the length of shoots at 48 – 51%, and leaf area developed on the shoots of 53 – 54%. While the lowest productivity was different shoots developed on the vines in 3 variant, because here the contour cutting vines was not accompanied by a subsequent breaking of superfluous shoots, which have overloaded the bushes shoots. At the same time, contour cutting vines with subsequent breaking of the normalizing excess shoots were allowed to grow for fruiting the bushes a sufficient amount of normally developed shoots with high productivity and good quality bunches

THE EXPERIENCE OF CREATING A POPULATION OF MEAT-WOOL SHEEP
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe study of the productive qualities of crossbred offspring from different breeding combinations and identifying the most effective ones providing the maximum increase in the production of high quality lamb while reducing its cost is an important problem and is essential for further development of methods of creating a new type of precocious meat and wool sheep. In the Rostov region in the result of the establishment of populations of meat-wool sheep there are several groups of animals with different characteristics and hereditary inclinations. As the base of the work there is a method of mating and breeding of sheep of the desired type. The article presents the results of one of the fragments of a large complex work in which the possibility of using three-pedigree hybrids, created with the involvement of potential salskaya, edilbaevskaya and intense meat-wool breed, which is severokavkazskaya, to improve productive quality in the breeding of sheep. We have evaluated productivity and biological features of hybrids and proved the economic efficiency of their use in the production of mutton. We have given the results of the control slaughter and assessment of qualitative indicators of the meat of young sheep. The set of indicators characterizing meat productivity and meat quality revealed that the superiority of the studied indicators remained for two - and three-bred cross cattle. Hybrids have a higher rate of growth and quality parameters of meat productivity. These options are simple and complex industrial crossing are promising and can be implemented and used on the farms of the zone of breeding Merino sheep. Thus, the use of crossbreeding gives an opportunity to convert a flock of sheep in the desired direction quickly. At the same time, three-pedigree hybrids better combine the valuable qualities of the used species
