EFFECT OF RECREATIONAL LOAD ON SOIL RESERVE “UTRISH”
04.00.00 Geological-mineralogical sciences
DescriptionThe original soils were investigated at the Black Sea coast of Russia. Severe degradation of the soil in a Utrish nation reserve were identified as a result of high recreational pressure. Soils with high recreational load have low humus content (2-3 times) and a lower en-zymatic activity than the control of the soil. Biological parameters can be successfully used for environmental monitoring of soil of Utrish reserve, in contrast to the chemical and physic-chemical properties

CHANGE OF BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY OF SOILS OF NORTH CAUCASUS IN RELATION TO CLIMATE
04.00.00 Geological-mineralogical sciences
DescriptionClimatic conditions have considerable impact on biological properties of soils of the South of Russia. From all studied indicators the most dependent on climate there was maintenance of a humus and activity of polyphenoloxidases and peroxidases. Values of the integrated indicator of a biological condition (IIBC) on a profile of soils decrease in process of increase in an amount of precipitation, decrease in temperature, and increase in height of the district in next order: meadow subalpine → brown forest → gray forest → black leached soil → black typical soil → black ordinary soi

Description
The research of the territory adjacent to Novocherkassk state district power station, for the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (on an example of benzo(a)pyrene) is presented. The benzo(a)pyrene content in soils has been determined with a method of subcritical water extraction. The content of benzo(a)pyrene in soils of the territory adjacent to Novocherkassk state district power station has been estimated. It is shown, that contents of benzo(a)pyrene excess over maximum permissible concentration in soils of five-kilometer zone around the companies

THE ACCUMULATION OF COPPER AND ZINC COMPOUNDS IN BLACK LEACHED SOIL UNDER TECHNOGENIC POLLUTION
DescriptionThe influence of exogenous form of heavy metals intake on their transformation in the soil is determined during the model experiment. Distinctions in quantity of extracted mobile compounds of heavy metals in the soil depending on a form of addition various connections of Cu and Zn are established. The smallest mobility of Cu and Zn at addition of heavy metal oxides is observed. It is established that Cu accumulates mainly in the fraction connected with organic matter, Zn accumulates in residual fraction and in the fraction connected with ferric oxide and manganese oxide by consecutive fractionation technique

ECOSYSTEM DEGRADATION OF THE LIMESTONE MASSIFS OF WESTERN CAUCASUS AFTER DEFORESTATION
DescriptionSignificant changes in mountain ecosystems occur after deforestation on limestone massifs of the Western Caucasus. Tall-mountain-meadow vegetation with a large variety of species formed at low and medium soil disturbance 3 years after logging. Physical and biological properties of calcareous soils also vary greatly. The values of biological activity decrease at the maximum load is more than 10 times. Biological activity is increased by 20-50% or more cutting stations with low disorders. Biological properties of soils (especially the enzymatic activity) are very sensitive indicators of changes that have occurred as a result of logging. Changes in the activity of soil hydrolases different from changing oxidase activity at different times after logging

STABILITY EVALUATION OF SOUTHERN RUSSIA SOILS TO CHEMICAL POLLUTION
DescriptionWe propose a method of biodiagnostics of soil resistance to chemical pollution and its regulation on the degree of violation of the ecological functions of soil based on the definition of the integral indicator of biological state (IIBS) of the soil. The comparative assessment of the stability of the major soils of the south Russian to chemical pollution are considered in this article

BLACK SOIL RESISTANCE TO COMBINED OIL AND ELECTROMAGNETIC POLLUTION
DescriptionThis article shows how soil contamination with oil leads to a significant decrease in the values of its biological properties. High levels of induction of the alternating magnetic field intensified oil toxic effects

DEPENDENCE OF VEGETATION STATE ON FAIRWAYS LAWN OF THE GOLF COURSES FROM ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
DescriptionThe dependence of the grass cover state of the golf courses from the soil properties was observed. The soils named “replantozem” are the basic soil of gaming zone of "fairway". It is shown, that the heavy particle size structure with a predominance of clay particles is unfavorable to the lawn. During the golf course construction, natural soils were ameliorated with high sand content. This new made soils ensure the formation of better grass coverage despite the low humus content

Description
The article describes the structure of microbial communities in urban soils of Rostov-on-Don. The difference in numbers of bacteria of main trophic groups between the central part and the suburbs of Rostov-on-Don has been analyzed. The comparison with control soil with minimal anthropogenic impact has been performed. The indices of mineralization, oligotrophy, oligonitrophylic and pedotrophic quotients have been calculated

BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF BLACK LEACHED SOILS OF THE ROSTOV REGION
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe regularity that increases biological and enzymatic activity with increasing the age of the deposits of 10 to 82 years has been shown. The indicator of recovery of black leached soil steppes can be presented as invert-ase activity and humus content, as well as reducing the density of the soil. Integrated indicator of the biological properties decreases with decreasing age deposits: 82 years (100%) - 26 years (84%) - 16 and 10 years (74%) - arable land (64%)
