DescriptionIn the article the historical information about a condition of wine-growing and wine making branches of the Russian Federation - the most profitable branch of agriculture - from 1984 for 2008 is resulted; statistical and economic indicators are stated. For example, the area of vineyards has decreased from 190,1 thousand in hectares to 64,4, productivity fluctuated within 30,1-79,5 centner/hectares, etc. The information about wine-producing subjects of the Russian Federation Is resulted. The Program of development of wine growing and winemaking of the Russian Federation for 2008-2020 is observed, according to which the increase in the areas of vineyards from 64 to 172 thousand in hectares is provided, increase in volumes of manufacture of grapes from 300 thousand to 1,1 million tons, manufacture of table grapes will increase in 2 times, juice to 100 thousand gallons; it will be employed about 200 thousand persons in addition; the economy of regions will increase more than in 3 times is covered

SOME ASPECTS OF INTRODUCING IN VITRO OF NEW CLONAL ROOTSTOCKS FOR STONE FRUIT CROPS

DescriptionThe article presents the results of the study of the effect of the size of the explant clonal rootstocks for stone fruit crops of the Krymskaya OSS VIR VSL-1, VSL-2, LC-52, RVL-1, RVL-7, VVA-1, AP-1 injected in vitro and concentration vitamins and phytohormones in a nutrient medium on the efficiency of introducing in vitro of these rootstocks. The optimal size of the injected in vitro explant was determined and nutrient medium in the first stage of micropropagation was optimized. The optimal size of the dissected meristem, which provides the maximum percentage of explant initiation is 0.4 mm. The modified version of the nutrient medium based on the Murashige and Skug prescriptions with a reduced content of vitamins B1 0.1 mg / l, B6 0.4 mg / l, PP- 0.4 mg / l, and phytohormone 6-BAP - 0.3 mg / l. at the first stage of cultivation of explants of clonal rootstocks for stone fruit crops is optimal. The survival rate of explants in all tested samples of clonal rootstocks on this modified nutrient medium was in the range of 92.5-97.5%

THE SHORTAGE OF WINTER WHEAT GRAIN CAUSED by P. triticina

DescriptionThe article studies the influence of the interaction of two technologies of plant protection: breeding- immunological and chemical. The studies were conducted on the varieties and lines of soft winter, durum wheat and triticale, established in Krasnodar research institute named after P. P. Lukyanenko, and also, on varieties of an alien and foreign selection. When considering the correlations in the group of genotypes, forming a necrotic type of reaction to the introduction of the pathogen (the first group of varieties), the significant negative correlation (r - 0,76) between the change in the mass of 1000 grains and the number of unproductive stems formed by one plan was established. The model of the severity of brown rust pathogen in sparse crops of wheat has been collaborated. According to the model, the development of the pathogen in the tissues of the leaves of the host plant leads initially to a change in the relations of the productive and unproductive stems. The change of these parameters significantly affects on the variability of indicators such as the mass of grains from one ear, number of grains per ear and 1000 grain weight. Negligible volatility of weight for 1000 grains suggests that the major losses of productivity in the flowering stage are due to abortive flowers. This model can explain the increase in the mass of 1000 grains in some varieties for tolerance change experiments with the defeat of plants of P. Triticina on micro-plots

SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF TOBACCO SEEDS GROWING

DescriptionNicotiana tabacum and rustica are facultative self-pollinated plants, therefore, because of pollination peculiarities, specific methods are applicable to growing seeds of this plants. Researches on mass, individual and family, recurrent methods of seeds selection for productivity and sowing properties are carried in the institute for revealing most efficient methods of getting seeds. Seeds growing system for Nicotiana tabacum and rustica is a part of general seeds growing system for all agricultural plants and consists of breeding, testing new sorts, mass reproduction of seeds with retained biological and productivity properties, seeds harvesting and controlling their sort and sowing properties. Primary growing of nicotiana tabacum and rustica seeds is carried by individual and family or recurrent selection and further testing of chosen plants, distinctive for this sort, on economically valuable and biological properties. Peculiarities of each zoned sort are kept by retaining its primary genome with constant selection of highly productive genotypes, specific for this sort. Well-organized seed growing system leads to sort potential revealing. Biotype composition of sort is obviously changing in a few years, so primary seeds growing system should be constantly improved
