Description
The created hybrids with new lines and testers were studied in 2014-2015, in the conditions of the central zone of the Krasnodar region and the Central Black Earth Region (Voronezh and Belgorod regions). As a parent forms for selection of early ripening and Medium early corn hybrids there were used lines of various groups of ripeness of the ident heterosis group: Kr 714 Kr 740 Kr 757 Kr 651 Kr and 602. All of these lines had high combining ability, and the line 602 Cr was used as a donor for a quick return of moisture from the grain when ripening. With the participation of the lines from the collection of the Institute and the donor line, we have created four hybrid combinations on the basis of which, the selection was received by the five-year selection of new source material for breeding new hybrids of corn. The assessment of comutiny capacity of new lines was performed using a linetesters of the genetic institute collections of 721MV Cr, Cr 801MV, Kr 654 Kr 244MV, Cr 602MV, Kr and Kr 802MV 752. Lines testers were represented by a heterosis group of Lancaster, Stiff Stalk Synthetic and wide lines with a genetic basis. According to the guidelines of the State strain testing of crops, and as a result of the field experiment, we have calculated the energy savings for new early maturing corn hybrids in comparison with the standard ones. Saving energy for equivalent fuel from new hybrids of corn comparing to the standard for 1 ha of crop was due to their grain productivity and varied depending on the conditions of the Voronezh region from 81.4 to 101.5 kg, in the Krasnodar region it was 79,0-97,9 kg

SELECTION OF RICE PRODUCTIVITY BY SELECTION FROM HYBRID GENERATION OF WELL-GRAINED PANICLES

Description
During 2012-2015 from the two fissile populations of rice hybrid Il.14 x Kuboyar and Il.28 x Kuboya we conducted multidirectional selection of panicles with low, medium and high number of grains in them. It was established a different reaction to the selection of hybrid generations by yield. The lowest yield was formed at planting grain from small panicles, intermediate - from the middle panicles and biggest - from the major panicles. The reaction to selection decreased with each successive generation. In the hybrid Il.14 x Kuboyar at positive selection of the yield increase towards the initial population F2 was in F3 - 10,5%, in the F4 - 3,8% and F5 - 1,9%, at Il.28 x Kuboyar - respectively 4, 4%, 3.1% and 0.7%. At negative selection in Il.14 x Kuboyar there was a decrease of yield on 7.7% F3, in F4 on 6.9% and in F5 on 0.2%. By years of research was not observed variations in grain yield obtained from the panicle with an average grainness and generally was at the level of the original population. At the hybrid Il.28 x Kuboyar for negative selection of the relative yield initially decreased on 1.7% in F3, while then for all kinds of selection to the fifth generation grew up and different to a lesser extent than the first the hybrid, although the ranks of the values preserved. The yield from a fraction of well-grained was 98.4%, medium grained - 96.5%, low grained - 94.2% of the initial Kuboyar variety

SERRA - NEWEST HIGH QUALITY WINE MUSCAT GRAPE VARIETY WITH COLORED PULP AND JUICE

Description
Newest wine Muscat grape variety with colored pulp and juice Serra was breeded at Athens Institute of Viticulture (Greece) by P.Zamanidi and L.Troshin in 2007 by crossing the Ukrainian Odessa black variety (Alicante Bouschet x Cabernet Sauvignon) with the new Greek Muscat black berry Krimbas variety. According to the morphological and physiological characteristics it is included in the eco-geographical group of Black Sea Coast. Length of production period is 146-155 days. Strong growth of shoots (2,1-3,0 m). Percentage of productive shoots is over 90. Productivity is very high: 25-30 t / ha. Average weight is 350 g. Grapes characterized with high resistance to cold, drought and increased resistance to fungal diseases in comparison with varieties of Vitis vinifera. Flower is hermaphrodite, with the stamens and fully developed gynoecium. Cluster is medium, conical, sometimes with wing, medium density. Berry is small, round, blue-black, with a thick waxy coating. Peel of medium thickness, dense, durable. Pulp and juice are intensely colored, flavored with Muscat taste. Sugar content is very high, in the bushes at sun-dried bunches up to more than 40%. Prolonged preservation of crop on bushes.
