Description
The purpose of examining the roadside agrocenosis in the Aksai district of the Rostov region was a comparative assessment of the ecological condition of ordinary black soil and agricultural products grown in the technologically transformed conditions. The evaluation of agro-forestry factor impact on refraining toxic substances from the techno-genesis road source was also of interest. The study was expected to determine the actual and potential content of copper, zinc and lead in the ordinary black earth, as well as to evaluate the accumulation level of the investigated elements in the winter wheat grain. The potential reserve of investigated elements in ordinary chernozem (or black soil) is several times higher than the potency of the current content. Distribution of the results of the actual and potential reserve determination demonstrated the transfer of gas-dust emissions beyond the forest belt where the production crops are grown. At the remoteness point of 10 meters away from the road beyond the forest belt minimal amounts of actual and potential element content were found. At a distance of 50 - 100 m there was found a significant excess content of copper, zinc and lead. Repeated studies conducted 20 years later, identified the lead content in winter wheat grain exceeding the MPC. The results obtained have demonstrated the lack of agro-forestry effect in refraining gas and dust emissions by the road forest belt

MEAT PRODUCTIVITY OF CROSSBRED SHEEP CALVES
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe article presents the results of the control slaughter of purebred and crossbred lambs. It was found that the index of compactness and the main killer performance superiority had two or three breed lambs obtained from crosses involving sheep southern meat breed. The experimental animals were taken measurements of carcasses, which give a fairly complete and objective view of the differences in the length of the torso, hips, mascara and hip girth. There are specific differences in the yield of the most valuable cuts of the first grade the rams depending on the origin. The superiority of crossbred calves over the control for this indicator amounted to 16.4 and 33.4%. The chemical composition of the meat fine-wool lambs contained more moisture and less fat and less calories than meat crossbred animals. Increasing the hybrids values of the protein quality index indicates an increase in meat share of muscle proteins and the reduction of connective tissue, and consequently, improving the quality of the raw meat. Animals obtained by crossing, have wide and deep body, well-developed muscles of the thighs, the best quality characteristics of meat productivity

BIOLOGICAL FEATURES AND PRODUCTIVITY OF BLACK-AND-WHITE CATTLE
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe behavior, interior and milk yield of the mature Black-and-White cows with various productivity levels, as well as etology of the replacement heifers are researched. The superiority of the high milk yielding cows for the lying duration and eating feed and water is revealed. Reduced variability of vital behavioral actions of animals is found. In addition, high yielding cows has been lower variability in all feeding acts. It was noted that high yielding animals exceeded equal age cows by the level of most interior factors. The differences were significant on the content of hemoglobin, vitamin E, and especially on the content of iron. Positive correlations between some interior design indicators is found. The analysis of lifetime productivity during our research found that high milk yielding cows had highest yields on the first lactation and kept the same level in the next lactations with insignificant variations. The lower productivity animals reached maximal yields on the third lactation with the followed downward trend. Differences between groups in lifetime productivity during research amounted to 16 992 kg. The significant superiority of the heifers with high grown intensity above equal age animals for the duration of feed and water eating, physiological functions and lying. The analysis of variation coefficient is confirmed the observed regularities.

STATUS AND PERSPECTIVES OF DEVELOPMENT OF DAIRY CATTLE IN THE ROSTOV REGION
DescriptionIn this article we carry out the analysis of the current state of dairy farming in the country and in the Rostov region. The article shows the number of cows and milk production in farms of all categories in the country and the region. At present, Russia is ranked 6th in the world in milk production and is the largest importer of milk and dairy products. The situation is similar in the dairy industry of the Rostov region. Nowadays Rostov region ranks 5th in the Russian Federation and 2nd place in the southern Federal district in milk production. A large portion of milk (83,4%) is produced in households. This indicates decentralization of livestock complex in the Rostov region. The demand for milk is met through own production by 83%. Currently, the region has just started a period of stabilization of the gross milk production. For the last 4 years the indicators of milk productivity of cows have been 13.0-14.5% higher than the national average. Much of this was facilitated by the measures of state support. With the support of Federal and regional authorities in this field it has been created a favorable investment climate for the development of dairy farming. In the article the main organizational and economic aspects of profitability of milk production have been shown. It identifies the main issues that hinder the intensification of dairy farming. The dairy sector of the Rostov region has good prospects. Main approaches to the solution of the problems of development of dairy cattle breeding in the Rostov region have been listed

LANDSCAPING RECREATIONAL AREAS FOR WALKING IN A MOUNTAIN FOREST
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionThe aim of this study is the substantiation of recreational zones in the mountain forests for walking tourists. The article contains a functional zoning, design and spatial solution of landscapes of these zones. The aesthetic and recreational value of forests recreational areas increases the implementation of thinning. Implementation of thinning in the territory of the forest zone allocates places for relaxing and walking. This is the basis of functional separation of recreational areas. Coordinates of the objects of recreational areas (inputs and outputs, the center of the composition, toilets, natural monuments, gazebos, crossing trails and wooden sculptures) are determined using GPS satnav. We can determine the spatial composition of landscapes with forest vegetation, relief and water space. This allows you to allocate places for sight-seeing platforms. Small architectural forms must be in harmony with the surrounding landscape. Walking paths form the basis recreation areas. Turns and bends of routes for walking must comply with the elements of the landscape. Areas for recreation are usually located along the trail in of water bodies and in places of disclosure prospects. The recreation area is limited to with an enclosure which fits into the forest landscapes. In this case, the fence should not interfere with of migration of small animals (herpetofauna, insectivores, and others). The harmony of landscape elements serves as a criterion of completion of design. In the recreation area fire prevention measures have to be carried out by tenants. Permissible load of tourists to recreation areas is determined by a special technique. Conclusions: there was proposed a new kind of recreation facilities in the mountain forests - the zone for walking tourists. When carrying out forestry works, there will be a minimum of expenses on arrangement of the zone. Negative consequences to the forest environment would also be minimized

Description
The aim of the work is theoretical and experimental confirmation of the possibility of improvement in tractor unit acceleration due to the variable inertia moment of the rotating masses of the engine. The use of high-speed tractors in agricultural production meets a number of difficulties associated with unsteady processes during acceleration of the tractor units. The emerging significant inertial loads during acceleration result in the loss of engine power because of what the machine and tractor unit is operating at reduced productivity and efficiency. An analysis of published works shows that the tractor unit acceleration is strongly influenced by the rotating mass of the engine. A device based on the application of additional rotating masses in a free flywheel connected or disconnected automatically to the main engine flywheel at appropriate stages is offered. As a result, the tension during acceleration is reduced. The results of experimental studies on the effect of the additional rotating masses on the engine acceleration characteristics of the machine and tractor units on the basis of Class 1.4 tractor are given. It is proved that the use of the tractor additional rotating mass connected or disconnected to the respective modes of movement of a machine and tractor unit to the flywheel of the engine, improves acceleration performance
