COLLECTION SAMPLES OF SOFT WINTER WHEAT TOLERANT TO LEAF RUST AND POWDERY MILDEW
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionDiseases cause great damage to agriculture, reducing yields and decreasing its quality. The losses are up to 20-30% of potential crop yields. Different types of rust and powdery mildew cause significant damage to wheat. Thereby, the growing of varieties tolerant to these diseases is of great importance at present. It allows solving such problems as the improvement of stability of grain production (especially in the epiphytotic time), improvement of its quality and reduction of prime cost of the product. Cultivation of resistant varieties gives the opportunity to avoid a use of crop protection chemicals and thus, to improve environment. The researches were carried out in the laboratory of intensive soft winter wheat breeding and seed-growing of FSBSI ARRIGC after I.G. Kalinenko in 2013-2015. The crop was sown in a bare fallow. 275 samples of soft winter wheat from the world collection VIR, Turkey (CIMMYT), new varieties of domestic and foreign breeding, varieties and constant selection lines of own selection were the subjects of the study. Favorable for disease development weather conditions allowed evaluating collection samples according to the degree of infection with leaf rust and powdery mildew under natural conditions. According to a complex resistance to leaf rust and powdery mildew we have distinguished the following samples: ‘Nakhodka’, ‘1226/98’, ‘662/99’, ‘1366/08’, ‘Patriarkh’ (Russia); ‘Shestopalivka’(Ukraine); ‘Simonida’ (Serbia); ‘MV 15-04’ (Hungary); ‘Rialto’ (England); ‘Menestrel’ (France); ‘№42 CIMMYT’ (US). Thus, our conducted study resulted in distinguishing the samples of soft winter wheat which are resistant to leaf rust and powdery mildew and are recommended to use as a source of resistance and tolerance to these pathogens. The samples with a combined resistance to both pathogens are of particular interest

PLANT IMAGES IN PAINTINGS OF ARTISTS AS A RESOURCE OF INFORMATION ON THE HISTORY OF AGRONOMY
DescriptionThe article discusses the use of illustrations based on works of art as a resource for information on the history of science and of agronomy is plant breeding in particular. In our work, we used the works of art as a separate independent resource of information in multiple tasks: as a resource for archaeogenetic variety of agricultural crops (pumpkin, gourd, squash, Luffa) as a tool of visual notes in plant breeding, as an independent material analysis introduction agricultural plants. The task of our study was to create base images of agricultural plants on the basis of works of art of past centuries, as a demonstration of the development of scientific breeding of agricultural plants. In this regard, to achieve this goal, we have been collected images of agricultural plants from the 15th to the 21st century, given their modern counterparts. Paintings in the educational process in courses of such disciplines as "History of agronomy" can be regarded as the object of analysis; material for study; a tool for gathering information, the resource information on individual characteristics. A common criterion of the approach to painting, as a tool of analysis, is the fact that an illustration, an image or other biological phenomena, recreate the form, the essence of the research object or phenomenon. It is shown, that the use of paintings as documentary, the changes of plants, in our opinion is interesting and relevant methodical approach in the modern educational technology. The analysis of paintings allows students to penetrate deeper into the image of the investigated object, to enquire about the time of the creation of the painting, to be an independent creative activity in search of information resource

USING DISCRETE WAVELET TRANSFORM FOR CALCULATION OF TRANSIENT REGIMES OF POWER SUPPLY SYSTEMS
DescriptionThis article presents an algorithm based on the discrete wavelet transform for the analysis of current root mean square (RMS) value and total harmonic distortion (THD) in power systems. Power quality indices play an important role in case of non-stationary distorted waveforms, where neither a frequency-domain-based approach using fast Fourier transform tools nor a timedomain-based approach using real time data give satisfactory results. The algorithm proposed decomposes the current waveforms into uniform frequency bands corresponding to the odd harmonic components of the signal. The proposed algorithm overcomes the spectra leakage problem. Computer simulations verified the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm

OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUES FOR PCRRFLP FOR GENOTYPING SHEEP
06.00.00 Agricultural sciences
DescriptionDiagnosis by PCR-RFLP (polymerase chain reaction – polymorphism of the lengths of restriction fragments) is the standard analysis of point mutations for the diagnosis of allelic polymorphism of candidate genes related with productive qualities of farm animals. Along the length of the fragments (RFLP) make a conclusion about the absence or presence of the point mutation, and homozygosity or heterozygosity of the individual. The aim of our work was the optimization of protocols for conducting PCR-RFLP analysis for genotyping sheep for genes of the growth hormone gene differential growth factor and gene of calpastatin

Description
This article is important today because there is not enough attention in the contemporary law publications paid to the typical patterns of crime mechanism especially in the sphere of illegal weapon and ammunition turnover. Taking into account the opinions of such well-known forensic scientists as R.S. Belkin, V.D. Zelensky, G.M. Meretukov, M.V. Golovin, V.A. Obraztsov, J.G. Korukhov, V.Y. Koldin, O.V. Chelysheva, L.Y. Drapkin, V.N. Karagodin and others, the author comes to the conclusion that it’s necessary to develop typical patterns of crime mechanism for certain types of crime. The author has worked out some typical patterns of crime mechanism in the sphere of illegal weapon and ammunition turnover based upon major informative criminalistic elements, this particular article describes seven typical patterns of crime mechanism for the illegal storage, transportation, transfer, carry, purchase and sale, manufacture, repair or alteration, theft or extortion, careless storage or improper performance of duties on protection of weapon, its basic parts and ammunition. Each pattern is accompanied with the examples of judicial and investigative practice, followed by the necessary explanations and analysis of the activities of the subject of the investigation on the preparation, followup and final stages, which leads to the conclusion about the legitimacy of the proposed patterns

THE BASIC WAYS OF TRANSLATION OF TERMS IN THE TRANSPORT SYSTEM IN THE "RUSSIAN-YAKUT DICTIONARY"
10.00.00 Philological sciences
DescriptionThis article has discussed the most used ways of the translation of terminological lexicon of the transport system in the "Russian-Yakut dictionary", which was issued in 1968. Along with this, we have defined the borders object to the terminology of the transport system in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Although we have considered the dictionary which was published about 50 years ago, the interest to it of students, teachers of secondary and higher educational institutions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), translators and employees of mass media has been increasing constantly. The main methods of translation we considered in the examples were equivalent for the translation, tracing, transcription and translation of phrases and synonyms. The examples getting into language without external changes are also reviewed. It should be noted that the compilers were able to find acceptable methods of translation on the Yakut language in terms of the transport system. In this dictionary, the most widely used method of translation was the borrowing. However, the dictionary has made an invaluable contribution to the use of various methods of transport transfer terminological vocabulary of the resources of the Yakut language

On the basis of the analysis of documents, publications of scientists and periodical materials we considered particular training and education of cadets and students of maritime educational institutions in the post-Soviet republics. The acquisition of independence by the former Soviet republics demanded the creation and strengthening of their own statehood. The most important task for the newly independent states was the establishment of an effective system of higher professional education (HPE), for the purpose of training national personnel for its own economy. One of the components of HPE for each republic is marine colleges. Establishment of Maritime Universities in those young states has been performed, in a rather short period. The most characteristic of them is a reorientation of the teaching factor of educational activities in the international and European standards. Now the system of training in marine universities meet the requirements of the International Convection on Training and Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers, as amended, and other international conventions, which gives graduates the right to work on all types of vessels of domestic and foreign shipping companies. Nevertheless, for the process of educating and education of future naval professionals some problems are peculiar related to the lacks of the special and educational literature on national languages, by the shortage of the prepared teachers with experience of swimming on the courts of marine transport, sufficient financing. In educator work with students of marine institutions of higher education, a course is taken on forming patriotism for them, tolerance, volunteering, nationally spiritual values. Practically for every former soviet republic in patriotic education of students it is peculiar to have a specific system, features, but at the same time there are general lines: system, orientation on national traditions, close connection with a defensive capacity and forming of readiness to defend freedom and independence

Description
The article presents the results of the research on the effect of processing cuttings grapes Moldova and Bianca by a growth regulator called Stimolant 66f (Stimolante 66f) on their regenerative properties, the yield and quality of seedlings. In Moldova grade, we tested three concentrations of the drug - 0.001; 0.01 and 0.1% and grade Bianca - five - - 0.001; 0.005; 0.01; 0.05 and 0.1%, compared to treatment with IAA (standard) or without treatment (control). It was found, that both types of processing cuttings with IAA led to the inhibition of blooming buds. Application of Stimolanta to both varieties accelerated blooming buds, and to the greatest extent on grade Bianca. On the variety Moldova, the processing cuttings with heteroauxin and Stimolant at 0.01 and 0.1% had an inhibitory effect on the growth of shoots, which survived to the end of the experiment. On the variety of Bianca, both the IAA and Stimolant at all concentrations of working solution contributed to a significant increase the length of the shoots. At grade Moldova, basal ends of cuttings treatment for 24 hours in solutions of Stimolanta at 0.01 and 0.1% concentration had the root-growing ability stimulated, enhanced the yield and quality of seedlings. In grade Bianca, better rooting of cuttings with 3 or more roots was observed in the variant of "Stimolant - 0.05%", and a greater number of roots were produced in the version of "Stimolant - 0.1%." In cuttings of varieties ofMoldova, Stimolant showed better results than the IAA in optimal concentrations, and grade Bianca had about the same results
