STUDY OF XENOBIOTICS INFLUENCE ON SOIL ALGAE FLORA
DescriptionUse of algae as bioindicators on soil pollution by xenobiotics was studied in Krasnodar territory. There was diagnosed the low specific content of soil algae on the territory of a pesticide warehouse. There were presented some species, characteristic for the polluted soils.

Description
The plant body cells must contain a certain amount of water for a normal life. Water deficiency in cultivated plants was due to using herbicides used in intensive technologies of cultivation of agricultural crops. The conditions of the environment determine the sensitivity of the plant to herbicide. Soil and climatic conditions of winter wheat grown in the time of herbicide treatment are important for the effectiveness of its actions. It was found, that plants grown under shade or high humidity are more sensitive to herbicides than ones grown in bright sunlight and in times of drought. During drought, and in the open sunny spot, plant development is faster and become more stable. On soils rich in humus, we may grow less herbicide-resistant plants than in soils poor in organic matter. Herbicides are moved through the vascular system of plants with nutrients and metabolic products, they cause general poisoning as deformation of the stem and leaves of the plants, growth inhibition, chlorosis, fragility of leaves and stems, sterility, reducing the amount of free to bound water, which is particularly important for combating perennial weeds that have strong and well-developed root system. Monocots are able to immobilize the leaf herbicides. Latency of herbicides and their immobilization are carried out in various ways. Elucidation of the physiological characteristics that determine the resistance of plants to water scarcity and the effects of the herbicides is the most important task, the solution of which is not only of great theoretical, but also has practical significance

Description
The immunologic characteristics of 18 domestic winter wheat cultivars to Transcaucasia population of yellow rust pathogen have been studied. 251 resistance sources to Puccinia striiformis have been detected among 468 studied soft wheat samples from Vavilov ARRIP collection. The efficiency of known resistance genes (Yr) to Transcaucasia population of yellow rust pathogen are estimated

STUDY OF SOIL ALGAE AS BIOINDICATORS IN AREAS OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTION
DescriptionAlgae as bioindicators on soil pollution by xenobiotics were studied in Krasnodar region. Explicit alteration of algacenosis was observed on the territory functioning petroleum production site, it testifies the consistent soil pollution. Alga flora of preserve area zone differentiated with high species diversity.

Description
This article is devoted to the study of small mammal communities (species composition, daily activity and spatial distribution) in the agrocoenosis. The fields of winter crops that were surrounded by similar fields or by winter crops with meadow vegetation were researched. The Mus musculus became the dominant species in the winter crops agrocoenosis. The R. Sylvaemus living near the border with field-protective forest belts (and 25 meters field around) are subdominant group. Marked single finds Mus musculus in the forest and R. Sylvaemus in the field (at a distance before 50 meters). It is shown that the presence of meadow vegetation increases the species diversity of mice in the agrocoenosis. In the middle of this field a subdominantion group is Microtus arvalis s.l. and Cricetulus migratorius. The both species prefer a neighborhood with meadow vegetation. The method of recapture, followed by labeling with animals, made it possible to fix the movement for a distance of about 400 m. during the night (maximum values were males Mus musculus). The activity of small mammals in the winter crops was timed to coincide with the day-night cycles, with high activity from 01:00 to 04:00 am, and minimum activity after 09:00 hours of the morning before 08:00 pm

Description
The study of agronomy plants history, its distribution and use through image analysis and iconography have been presented. As an object of study, the image of wheat has been taken as the ancient culture of the world among agricultural plants. After many years, the illustrative series takes on a completely different meaning, namely, it becomes an independent resource of information. The analysis includes images of wheat in painting, sculpture, mosaic, tapestries, murals, botanical illustrations, stamps, porcelain and scientific drawings. In the work, we have made an attempt to analyze the images of wheat in the works of art in order to search for species diversity, directions of selection and genetic research, and also to present the morphological characteristics of culture. The method of analysis is a method of visual notes or sketches, which consists in comparing and searching information by image. The analysis is carried out on grounds: tall wheat, multiflorous forms of wheat, nonspreading, thickness of straw. The visual analysis of the images of wheat in works of art by the method of sketches made it possible to reveal the species diversity of culture along the ear, to see the ancient forms that were cultivated in the world before the "green revolution". The analysis included works of art from the 14th to the 21st century, the masters of painting in Italy, Germany, Russia, the Netherlands, France, the United States, and others
